| With the Spring Season fast approaching, it is time to begin planning for the 2009 year.
This year we will be holding 3 meetings prior to the "Spring Kickoff Classic" and the Spring league. The meetings will be held (1) in the Hartford area, (1) in the New Haven area and (1) in the Meriden area. This should allow all teams a reasonable drive time to attend at least 2 of the meetings.
The purpose of these meetings is to create a schedule of events for the year, discuss wants and concerns of the teams, players and officials, provide an open forum for all league participants and to select a group of players/leaders to form a league board. This board will aid in the rule and policy making, as well as give the players a stronger voice.
The 1st meeting of 2009 will be held on Saturday, January 31st at 6pm at Long Hill Country Club (130 Long Hill Rd) in East Hartford CT.
Although it is not mandatory....attendance is encouraged!
