| So last week i heard that i was going to get screwed out of my spot of being #1 on the waiting list for a team. Although i was aggravated about it i let it go figuring that enough people knew that i was #1 on the list. I was the only one who reached out to Helen and was placed on the list and i didn't believe it but i guess it was true that the list died with her and i was going to get screwed. Just so everyone knows the line about the list dying with her was not my words but was how it was explained to me that i was going to get screwed. Ian you yourself knew i was #1 on the list according to Helen's official list because we e-mailed back and forth several times about it what is your opinion on this matter? So i am looking for a league official to please clarify this matter.

| when i received helen's league binder, the list was not in it.
however the last two years, psc was first on the list and you never come off the list until you are offered a spot in the league and deny it.
therefore, psc is still first on the list.
not having a list, i went through every softball email i have (i save them for this very reason) and compiled a new list based on when i was contacted.
i do not have the exact dates with me but i will forward all of the emails to you to prove.
also, our emails last summer were me telling you to get on the list and i never once said you were first. i have those too and will get them to you later.
so you are fairly 3rd on the list as i explained to all managers at the meeting. i assume you posted to expose some league cover up which is fine. however i have all the data to show that there is no cover up.

| Seems to me that calling out the person who runs the league in a public fourm is probably not the best way to move up the list...

| I think it is the 77 at the end of there screen name's is what is confusing. I personally thought it was Ant next but i havn't been around long enough to know other wise.

| Ant...I don't know where you ever got the impression that you were next, because last year when Pub split and Jr's dropped out the list was PASC first followed by Christo's and then Matty Saballa. No new teams got in because Pub split and On The Rochs's got the final spot in the league. At that time you were not even on Helen's list (which was shown to me because if I stayed with the Pub it would have been PASC)

| Oh and by the way, there are no new teams this year so it is a moot point anyway, no one dropped out and all the teams were represented at the meeting and all seem to be keeping their respective teams.

| Below is your email to me asking for information on 6/11/08 and my response to you. I said "I believe, we only had one person on the list." That would have made you second. However, when I had to reconstruct the list myself I found an email from Precision/Christos asking to get into the league and that was dated 2/28/08. They also posted on the smack page their interest on 2/4/08 under the name shout. Therefore, they became second, you became third.
Mert said in a post that saballa was on there ahead of you. That isn't true. Saballa asked me at club jogues on 6/29 when pna and patriot played the game of the week. Brian Ranney asked me at the Warwick turkey trot which was on 10/25. Ken Kowalski emailed me on 2/2/09.

You have to call Helen Baxter at 397-**** and tell her you are interested in putting a team in the league. She will put you on the list. This year, I believe, we only had one person on the list. Next year, they will still get called first and if they are not interested or we end up with two spots, you'll get the call. The main thing is the list is formed first come first serve. So, while it is a year away, it's worth calling her today just to get on it.
There was some limited talk this year of going to 18 teams. That's a situation that would also help get you in. Once you're in, its up to you to build the roster and get the sponsor.
Just something to put in the back of your mind if it all works out: first year teams can not have any players that play in other leagues, unless they have already played a year in Coventry.
Helen doesn't say anything about the waiting list until next year and I won't mention it either.
One other idea is getting a team together for Fall Ball which starts the week after the championship and runs until halloween/first week of november. There are no roster rules for that season and we pretty much take any team that wants to play.

| Well I guess that settle's that discussion. I bet all the Major League Baseball players are glad Ian is on our team and not the MLB Committee to see if they used illegal enhancing drugs

| Again I am not calling anyone out of pointing fingers i am asking a legitimate question. Ian I am just bringing foreward what was stated to me and was looking for clarification because when i spoke to Helen that day she said that there was nobody on the waiting list so i would be the first to get a team. Ian you don't have an e-mail from me telling you that i spoke to Helen and she stated i was first on the list? So maybe Helen was mistaken when we spoke on the phone that is all i wanted clarification to. I

| ant, no problem, i just wanted to clarify exactly what happened.
I have an email from you 11/9/08 telling me she said that. I don't know your conversation, but I know you could not have been ahead of PSC since they were at the initial meetings in 08 trying to get in.
At that time I was waiting to get Helen's binder and get the list myself. I didn't find the list, something that looked like the list, or anything I could even turn into the list.
From that point I had to put together what was fair and I believe I did.
I know christos/precision got in another league last year so they might not be able to put a team in whenever they get called.
hodde, thanks a lot. i appreciate it.
and ant, i have no problem with you, i just wanted to properly address the matter so there wasn't any questioning of what i did or how i did it.

| Ian, What if the Crowe Bar team doesn't really materialize, which is very possible, and Dionne goes to another team, or quits, etc. Would Anthony be able to continue the team as his own, if still sponsored by the Crowe Bar. Even if Dionne couldn't field a complete team, and Anthony could, would that mean the Crowe team disappears and the #1 guy would then recieve the spot? Another words does Dionne have the spot in the league or does the Crowe Bar?

| They both have the spot. If Dionne walks away from running the team the Crowe can give it to ant. Just like if the Crowe doesn't want to sponsor anymore, Dionne finds a new sponsor.
but its very different if one tries to leave the other to gain complete control.

| Actually he would need nine signed contracts from the team from the previous year to continue as Crowe Bar. If he can't get nine contracts of players from the previous year then it would go to the number 1 team on the waiting list.

| Wow alot of rumors could get started because of you slezak. As much as i would love to have the Crowe Team it is Josh Dionne's team. If Josh was at a point where he didn't want it and needed someone to take over i would. I would not try and steal a team from him or anyone else for that matter. So i am playing for crowe not running it. Oh yeah i will help him recruit if there are any pitchers out there looking for a team let me or him know.

| Ant, I wasn't trying to start any rumors, just trying to understand all the possible scenarios. Any of which could be possible, as you know. The question was meant to be serious not sarcastic. Didn't know all the rules. Kind of wondering where the team, Dionne, you, and myself stood. All this could've been avoided if LB4LB would of drafted me with the other 3. Just kidding Bobby, enjoy those guys their great players, friends and teammates
