MaxBat will be hosting a 3 hour baseball tryout/workout at the Metrodome on Sunday, April 19th from 7:30pm-10:30pm. The event will be run similar to a typical MLB batting practice and will be limited to the first 50-70 players who pre-register in order to give everyone an opportunity to take some swings given the allotted time. Players will be broken down into groups and team managers will be on hand to evaluate new players looking to join a team.
The Metrodome field will be set up with the turtle shell cage at home plate, screens in front of each base, L-screen and ramp for b.p., and batting tees w/ nets behind home plate. Bullpen mounds will also be available for pitchers.
Batting practice will be thrown by 2-time Georgia Legion Head Coach of the Year, and former professional baseball player Chance Reynolds.

| There are still spots available. We've received many verbal commitments, however if the registration forms are not completed and faxed in, those spots have to remain open.

| You can enter the Dome at GATE D at 7pm on Sunday night.
Parking is free and you can access the lot near the corner of 6th St. and 11th Ave. Just pull up to the guard shack and you can drive right up.
If you're participating, wear your baseball gear including cleats. If you have your own helmet, it might be a good idea to bring it (although not required).
Anyone is welcome to come and evaluate players if your looking to add someone to your roster. Most of the players attending are already on teams and are coming for the workout.
There will be an area set up with baseball equipment, and anyone is welcome to peruse that area as well.
There's a chance for rain on Saturday and Sunday with temps in the 50's, so if you need to get your baseball fix this weekend, sign up for the workout.
