| Now let me be the first to say I don't always agree with Demonti's explosions, before he thinks out all the situations. But thats his style, and everyone knows it, and thats what works for him. So whatever, fuck it. But the softball smack page, which all sorts of people including police, town people, friends and family, etc.,read is not a place to be making allegations and airing out dirty laundry. Who the fuck cares if it is true or not, why poswt something like that? If you have a problem with that person call them confront them face to face, whatever. e.g.

| vert true sleez, and thanks for your support, if mark would of payed attention over the winter he would of relized that it was a sore subject with another player in our league who decided to imply the same sort of allegation. bustin balls is one thing but cmon, a little to personal for my liking. and mark, maybe you should read ernies post on another topic and no when to pick your fights and when to keep your mouth shut, there is alot of truth to that.

My team will not be participating in trashing another person and/or team ...and Mike if you got a problem after this session come see me. We play you week 3. Pick on some one who can defend them self. It is easy to intimidate slump buster or other people like him but I haven't seen you back anything up you have said yet so I am not to worried. | I have to add my two cents here. Ian said in another post that Parks and Rec now knows about our website and I am willing to bet Guy L is probably reading it now. That being said smack is smack but don't put any bigger targets on our backs i'm sure Guy would love to have a reason not to let us have the fields. Great year everyone!! Rumor is 1PNA is picking up Jose Canseco for next year. hahah sorry PNA guys just couldnt resist.....
This is how i see things shaking out...
1 PNA. Its gonna be tough to beat them any week, and on paper are the best team.
2 Bothelo. It will be interesting to see how the new and old players mesh, obv with this pick i think winning will bring this team together.
3 VFW. Great talent on this squad, a contender year in and year out. No change this year. Adding Lemdog will prove to be a great move.
4 CM. A few different faces mixed in with some good talent. Great hitting team, knight, lesniak and eddie mac in same line up can u says RUNS!
5 A+. Heard a bunch of different things about this team, and normally id take a jab at gopher here and say anythin he runs obv doesnt move very quick ( cuz hes fat haha ) but with some of the guys he picked up. (if they show 90 % of the time) They will be right up there.
6 Patriot. Havent heard to much about this team, but if i know chip he isnt coming in empty handed. He will have a squad. Solid hitting team who plays great defense.
7 Doorley. Should be a good little team as long as people understand there roles, dont need everyone hitting homeruns. Need to play smart, and together and this team could surprise some of the top teams.
8 Rochs. Well im giving the final playoff spot to mert cuz i think he knows talent and with some of his guys retiring, he had to grab some younger players and fit the peices together. Always a blast to play against, and always a tough game.
9 Christos. If this is the same team that played in the fall, then i put them on the verge of the playoffs. If they dont have mostly the same team they could drop all the way down to 12. Good luck to you guys this year.
10 Crowe. Even with the key loses, this team still has superstar power with hinske, cote and hov. filling in the rest of the puzzle will b a handful for dionne but think it could work, just shy of a playoff berth tho.
11 Shamrock. A team that keeps getting better and better every year, takes a slight step backwards. Not because of anything they did but because of certain teams going out and getting players and them standing still.
12 Pub. Still a few guys away but this team will compete and be in alot of games, there my sleeper pick. If they can get a few quality wins over some top teams there right in the hunt.
13 Eaton. This is another team whom gets better every year but is another victom of not being able to grab certain players or entise them to come to there team. Before long these guys will b in the playoffs.
14 Stallions. Gotta love these guys, they show up play and have a blast and might i add have gotten alot better over the years. You cant sleep on these guys cause they can flat out hit the ball.
15 Club Jokes. Hodde im sorry your so low on this list but i just cant seem to think of anyone who is on your team, probably cuz im drunk 95 % of the time. but in all seriousness these guys could go way up in the standings depending on who they picked up, but just getting todd isnt gonna help enough. Its a start cuz hes a great pitcher, once i see your team on the feild ill change my picks.
16 Fire Fighters. These guys are by far the best team to play against, absolute blast when everyone is together on the field. unfortunately for the guys its just not in the cards this year. To many top teams and i heard they lost one of there best outfielders... if thats the case thats a huge loss.

| 1. VFW - lost 2 ball players and a Dutilly added 3 quality guys and they are still in my opinion the team to beat. Ryman is a much improved hitter and while he needs to learn when to open that cockholster of his he is still basically a decent guy. Look for Ryman to turn some heads with a .600 average and 15 homeruns, if he can crack Artie’s lineup. Adding James to the outfield helps fill the role I vacated and Lemme is as good a corner infielder as anyone I have ever played with. Not sure how he fits in if Goat is still there but he definitely helps any team he joins and can play any position not just the corners.
2. PNA - The hard stats show that PNA added while VFW made a lateral move adding players that have comparable stats to those that left. The PNA added 3 solid players and has lost a few quality players, but those players that left were already only used in limited roles. For this reason I think the PNA will have a better team on paper, but the VFW knows how to win. They have won 3 of the last 4 championships given out in this league and until someone takes them down in the regular season it’s just not right to pick anyone else as the favorite.
3. Botelhos – Ian’s team just flat out plays the game the right way. They win because they play hard, smart and small ball well. No power hitters outside of the double d monster of Darren and Dean, but all that changed when they added Ricky. Jay Derrick will help out with an already stellar defensive team. They have the hardest hitting pitcher in the league and he can also field his spot well.
4. Moulton – This team has lost some key players, but also added some good guys as well. They lose Lemme, Carley, and Fiskey. That’s three very tough players to replace, but they go out and get Neil, Lags, and Brett. These guys definitely are quality players that can more than match the bats of those that left, but I question how this will impact them defensively. Lemme is a great defensive third basemen and while Neil can play anywhere in the infield I just don’t think his glove matches up with Lemme’s. Lags is a huge upgrade over the over the hill outfield play of Fiske, but Lag’s bat is not what Fiske’s was either. Brett is a great hitter, but I have no idea how he fits in defensively on this team. I just don’t know enough about him defensively. All in all I say it’s a wash and to expect the same high level of play you get out of Moulton’s teams the last few years.
5. Doorley – This team is a much improved mess. They have arguably the drunkest group of guys in the league all assembled on one team, but mixed in they have some great hitters. As good as they will be offensively I think they will be the complete opposite defensively and it is hard to crack the top four in this league without a balance of both.
6. On the Rochs – Mark’s team has a mix of young guys and old rotting corpses (namely their manager and his freakish pet Carlo). They can hit for power, they can play real solid defense and they have enough old school tournament ball players to make games against them anything but easy.
7. Patriot Oil – Still a very solid team with good all around defense and they still have one of the best power hitters in the state. I don’t know much about who Chip added or lost. I do know that by season’s end he will be sorry he doesn’t have Rymans bat in the lineup, but on the flip side at least he didn’t have to deal with the drama that surrounds the deeply disturbed young man.
8. Christos – I have known Chris since I was 12 years old. Chris has put together a nice group of ball players and friends. While I don’t know most of them I have seen them around and they are all decent ball players. They will be in a dog fight with the Crowe Bar, but I believe they just may come out on top for the final playoff spot.
9. Crowe Bar – They still have great players there, but I have no idea who Dionne bribed or blew to come play with him or stay with him for that matter. I just figure the loss of Jay, and the Keenan’s is too much to replace all in one years time with the limited number of guys left over after the top 4 teams shuffled players around.
10. A + - These guys will be much improved. Now that high energy, low carb Gopher is running the team they should be in a much better position than when that blubbering retard Yehle was at the helm. All kidding aside, I think Gopher is highly motivated and as long as he doesn’t let the illusions of getting the playoff spot this year discourage him he will be poised to make a move for it in the ’10 season.
11. Village Pub – I like the Pub guys. Playing against them last year I had a blast. I think Bri has his work cut out for him building that team up though.
12. Club Jogues – Hodde lost some players, but added Todd and Ron. I think they will have a hard time dealing with the loss of Gopher, Rob, Rick and others, but they will hold their own against the lower third of the league.
13. Shamrock – Sorry to say I rank them 13 because I have no idea who the hell 99% of their roster is, but I can see what last years record was.
14. Eaton – same boat as shamrock for me.
15. Wyld Stallyns – I can make the same statements you read anywhere on the site – great group of guys, but lacking the talent to break out of the lower third of the league.
16. Central Coventry – Another awesome group of guys that unfortunately will be the cellar dwellers again, but I think they like it down there because the beer always stays cold in the cellar.

1 PNA. The addition of dougie haynes just pushes the PNA over the top, they signed 3 top tear players and then bring in the albert pujols of RI. There in a league of there own. PNA cruises to 1st.
2 VFW Even with tournaments and missing players ehre and there, this team is solid and artie has proven he knows how to win, Ryman is another addition who some people look over but short porce in left = walk up and homerun for him whenever he wants it. smart pick up on arties part.
3 Bothelo, Sandy, Athletics, OAWMF's. Whatever you call them they can flat out play. If they play as a team tough times ahead for the teams in there way. To bad smitty is slower than dutilly and to bad tomuchhairgel4tomuchhairgel wont be able to get alot of at bats. i hope when we play he will get a guest at bat.
4 CM these guys are gonna murder the ball all over the field, fielding could b a problem but there arent many holes here, who stays healthy will be a big thing.
5 Patriot. These guys are deceptively sneaky and very very solid, chip knows how to put a team together, if kirby makes more games than last year they could b higher.
6 Doorley I cant stress this enough, MUST PLAY SMART BALL, save the homeruns and spray the ball around the feild. play good defense dont give guys extra bases and we will be right in there.
7 A+ well they slide down the standings a bit just cause gopher is playing but these guys will be very good just wonder how mnay of there guys will show every week
8 Rochs/Crowe is there and way mathematically this could b a complete tie same wins same runs scored same runs against. cuz this would b a great play in game.
10 Shamrock these guys can hit and depending on how many of there guys show up every week Sober and willing to give it there all they are on the doorstep knockin to get into the playoffs.
11 Eaton just by picking up josh duquette they get some experience and support to make sure teams have to pitch to weimer who is a beast at the plate.
12 PUB young team will struggle at the beginning but once they get saballa back they should be pretty good. sorry ranney but u and shortstop sounds like a ball in the nuts at hunters haha
13 Jokes there older but they are experienced i think they could finish a bit higher but after a few games against some of the better teams they might just let up a bit and give up a game or two here or there to a lower team.

| Gopher I agree pat yourself on the belly, you have done a great job getting the guys this yr, it has been a pleasure to play with the team, great group of guys.
As far as the playoffs, some ideas to help us win at the field on game day
PNA- Chippendale strippers- That should make Dutilly, Ernie and Riley so horny that they won't be able to concentrate on softball.
Moulton- They are monsters, looks like they spend all their time in the gym so maybe a visit from Arnold Swartzenagger will distract them.
Reko's- Lynard Skynard and a few bottles of Jack Daniels.
Doorley- Keg should take care of them.
Sandy Bottom- Bunch strippers in school girl outfits in honor of their fearless leader Ian should take care of them.
Patriot- Just have to distract Kirby, so maybe a visit from Helmer, Baumgartner and Wallace should have him shitting his pants because the extra pressure to perform with those guys watching, he'll probably pop up every time
Just some thoughts on how to improve our playoff chances.
Had to throw something out there with all this I'm going to kick everyone's ass BS
