| The Bulldogs won 20-0. Could of been 27-0 but we took a knee in the red zone at the end. It was cold start to the day, but a ton of good football.

| Cheif,
It was a great opening day with 21 teams spread across three fields all day long. Much credit has to be given to Ray and the North division for their continued hard work and growth, the teams from the South who continue to make the journey to hartford, and all the players out there who helped spread the word about our league. I heard from more than one of the new teams that so and so from this team got me involved or told me about the league.
Ray and I may run the day to day operations but you guys (the PLAYERS / TEAMS) are what make the league what it is............ THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As for todays action, here is what I thought (for what it's worth..lol..)
BULLDOGS: Looked very dangerous and a legitimate title contender. The same athletes we saw in the fall added alot of talent and depth to the team. They played tough and smart, and would not be bullied by an agressive GATORS team.
GATORS: Glad to see you guys back, and with a full squad...........but without Rich or Joey its gonna be tough to stay afloat in this league. Plenty of talent to play with anyone but lack the cohesiveness and leadership that was their calling card in their championship years.
WARRIORS: That had to be the most impressive 20 point loss in the history of flag in CT. The youngsters from Southington were as organized as any team in the league (great job Chase), and played a loaded YOUNG GUNZ team as tough as I've seen any play them in a year. Keep up the good work fella's cause you guys have a bright future in flag
BUCS: Same old same old from Elvin and the boys. They had flashes of being a solid squad but always seem to have a breakdown or missed play when they could change the momentum. QB looked good as did the D. It's gonna be tough week in and week out but they will battle every down of every game
KNIGHTS: Looked solid all around vs BUCS. It was a blue collar performance (got the job done and got out). The addition of BAM and a new bookend tackle will make them tough to beat by anyone
YOUNG GUNZ: Right back were they left off last fall with a physical WIN. They might have the most talent position by position in the league and there was a certain former MVP QB on the sidelines all game??????????????? 4 weeks and counting to the next GUNZ QB controversy..lol. Bottom line is the GUNZ are the team to beat based off of today
CHARGERS....TBA
WILDCATS....TBA
LONGHORNS......TBA
