| With opening day around the corner and a lack of softball talk on the forum lately (with the exception of On the Roch's spiffy uni's), I felt like making some predictions of the upcoming season. Here goes less than nothin!
-if Kirby Murphy get's enough at bats to qualify, he will lead the league in homeruns but won't crack the top 5 in RBIs.
-Demonti will call me gay on the forum more times than I hit homeruns in the past 2 seasons combined (which he may have already accomplished)
-if Crowe Bar thinks they can't win without Keenan and Demonti, they won't.
-Neil's total homeruns go down from last season, but he leads the league in batting average as he become an even more complete hitter.
-6 teams will score 510+ runs this season.(Sandy, CM, VFW, PNA, Doorley,Rochs)
-3 teams will score 580+.(PNA, CM, VFW)
-Gopher hits 2 legit, fence-clearing homeruns this season. Both solos.
-2 players on PNA hit 30+ homeruns this season. (Wright, Brosnahan)
-Wyld Stallyns win 10 games and score 350 runs.
-Brian Stevens, Ryno, Demonti, and Lickmygopher will regret reading yet another long-winded RyMan post.
-the regular season will be won and lost on offense. The team that wins the championship will be the one with the best defense.
-Neil will fall a few homeruns short of winning the triple crown.
-a weekly poll will be taken as to whether the league thinks I should be deported back to Florida. 2 people will vote no.(Gopher, RyMan)
-Jeff Considine and Darren MacDonald will hit .700+.

| It has to do with what Slezak said in a post back when I made my season predictions. He though they'd be cellar-dwellars because of all the power they lost. I think they just need to play a different style of game. I think they could steal the last playoff spot if they have confidence in their team even after admittedly big losses.

Kirby is overated? Defensively a catcher only option but there is nothing overated about that man's bat.

| Thanks Ryman. I have to agree that the Crowebar will not be the team it once was. They lost a ton of talent that is hard to replace. I think we will be competetive with most teams though

| Ryman, Though I do sometimes regret wasting valueable minutes of my fading life reading some of your drabble, most of the time it entertains me. I would vote for you to be deported as long as you still have forum access. Take that as a compliment.

| jesus christ, with all the time spent sitting on the Patriot bench observing you would think that Ryman would have a couple of decent predictions.
- Kirby leads the league in HRS/AB. But he only bats 50 times
- Gopher..homeruns..not a chance.
Wright will not hit 30 HRs. Why? Not enough HRS to go around. Only 5 per game..as a lefty at Foster EW will have half his games where by the time the batting order turns they will be out of HRS.
- Stallions..10 Wins....they can only play the Firefighters twice..so..no way.
-Neil..Triple Crown...cant be done. Unless Artie is the scorekeeper for CM this year...then, absolutely
- 700? JC and DTrain. With a legit bookeeper like Ian..no way. Its just too hard to do. Mid 600s with 20 hrs.
I predict that Artie makes Ryman into an offensive threat and Ryman has 10 homeruns by the halfway mark. Then...of course..his teammates revolt and make artie trade him .
- I say look out for Patriot. They added a couple of no name sleeper sluggers

Kirby probably wont get enough at bats. And if he does get enough at bats and doesnt lead the league in homeruns, then i believe 3 - 10 pitchers in the league will be in hospital beds wishing they never learned to pitch. And i was told when VFW plays Patriot RYMAN is pitching to KIRBY hahaha jk
Well Ryman, There isnt enough at bats in the whole state for you to surpass the amount of times demonti calls you gay ( i feel another coming about...... NOW )
The crowe can win without the guys they lost, and it wont be that hard they just need to play smart ball. Just like every team does... pick and choose when to use the homeruns and make sure if u hit a solo shot there is NO way the other team can make a come back. I know if someone on my team hits a solo there not gonna hear the end of it from me. I think people under estimate the crowe, crowe is gonna surprise soem teams there still a good hitting team and the outfield they have is mighty good. COTE is the man, the young kid from fire fighters is sick out there and what can ya say about hinske the button pusher.... he can flat out play. And they picked up Bennie from harris = tough pitcher to hit off of.
There is no way Neil can surpass the amount of homeruns he hit last year, now he has about 8 guys on his team who can put one out every at bat. Unlike when he was with harris, but i forsee alot of inside the parkers for him that kid has the right field line down perfectly
I have no idea about runs nor do i care, ill win 1 - 0 every game as long as its a W in the book thats all that matters.
Gopher shouldnt even be in if he plays, then there stock drops. A+ turns into B-
I dont think there is enough homeruns to go around for ernie and broz to hit 30 a peice, even with ernie burning players in right feild and being inside the parkers. If they do i will eat my words and congratulate them both. But look what happened with Arod and Giambi ( yup thats right ernie im calling u Giambi, just grow a stache )
I think the stallions will win more games i dont see 10 this season tho. My guess would be 7 or 8.
The guys dont mind reading your post but mine are way to long and everyone hates me anyway, ps. dutily has nice teeth, stevens' diet didnt take, gopher is still a gopher, ryno is moving closer to the pna so his drunk drive isnt so long, demonti is drunk (always)
PNA already won.
Neil wins everything else, lets let someone else win this one. how about RYMAN!!!!!

Darren is to busy pushing his fingers together and asking news ladies to wrestle to hit 700 and only way Jeff hits 700 is if he can drink with the big boys and not fall asleep in the garage... oh wait that was Jen hahahaha.
I was in the woods spying on Kirby and Ryman, he hit it over the rocks in left and from where i was sittin it looked like it went into hole # 1 at coventry pines. He not only hits it a ton he has accuracy and nice backspin. Can you say Golf Pro Kirby! Ryman is a great caddy he told him the greens were playing a bit fast today hahaha

Just wanted to clarify since you appear mis-informed. We had eight wins last year, only two against the firefighters. Eaton, Jogues/Raymond, Del Padre, A+ and Shamrock accounted for the other 6 wins. Whether you want to believe it or not, we're not as awful as you think. We're not a twenty win team but we're also not a two win team anymore. I'll let you continue thinking there's "no way" we can improve two games.... We've only been doing it the past few years.

| I'm with ya WS 2000. I don't think you'll win the championship or even make the playoffs, but you guys improve every year. You have one of the better 3, 4, 5 combinations in the league and some of your other guys are no longer sure outs. Like Harry, who seems to not only get better at hitting every year, he gets thinner. You take 2 from Christo's (who I found out lost a lot of great players), Village Pub, CCFD, Eaton, and Shamrock. Keep your head and know that you can win and you might be able to steal 1 more. | just mixing it up WS. Thats what one does when one has no team, no talent and from a distance one gets mistaken for Rob Raymond. No one has been a more loyal supporter of the Stallions since their inception than me. Hey, there is a post in here somewhere from T-Doosh that says I am maybe good enough to get one sympathy at bat every other game ....so..we all gotta take a jab now and again....I never used the word awful . That said, now way you get 10 wins this year..at the end of the day, just an opinion. Now, if you do get 10 wins, I will take the credit for pissing you off and inspiring you to victory!
