| I just got word from Bemidji that they are charging to use their field and they want us to split costs for the field, umpires, and baseballs that day. This will total almost $200 which is more than the entry fee to the Border Battle.
Throw in a hotel for the night and you are talking about a pretty large chunk of money for the people that are going up there.
Should we just try to get someone to come to Midway that day instead?

| not sure if it's possible but see if maybe the shockers wanna come to midway that day and then cross off their aapearance later in the year as that week is already pretty busy and falls on moonjam weekend...

| I think that we should be getting a team to come to midway or menahga that night. Maybe try to get a new team to play. Thats my opinion. I don't really care about moon jam and im pretty sure everyone know's why. No offense to all the moon jammers.

| I just emailed Bemidji and told them we would not be coming up.
Staples isn't available that day and pretty much not any day we are but I am working on getting that re-scheduled. We may end up moving the Nisswa exhibition game that is scheduled for MEnahga and playing Staples that night but Dave hasn't got back to me yet.
The Shockers are also booked pretty much every day we have open.
Should I still try to get someone to come to Midway on 5/23?

| I'm pretty indifferent about having a game, but it might be a chance to get another good team on the schedule. I have contacts with people from the Bombers if anyone would be interested in that.

| Go nuts Yhetti. I will hold off and leave this one to whomever can get a ballclub to come to Midway, otherwise it is an off-day.
I won't be around that weekend, taking Brooke to the zoo I believe.
