| are state is very competive when it comes to flag gators, knights, browns, and gunz can easily be number 1 in the state personally i think we should eliminate state rankings cause soon as at team wins a tourney or championship they think there number 1# , It's getting corny with the rankings. We should have every team put up some cash and no add ons winner take all at least a 1000 a team !!! winner take all

| Show I hear you but thats how sports work. When you win you have no choice to put whoever that team is at #1. Whether it's in a tourney or the league. Money makes it more interesting but rankings will still be there. It will just be a question of who won more money. Some how some some way there will always be a ranking. It can't be avoided.

| The 2nd Annual State Championship tournament will be held after the completion of the Fall 2009 session. This event will be open to all and ONLY CT teams. I will be securing a turf site (so weather will not be an issue). If teams are interested in upping the ante with a cash incentive I will come up with a format for that. More details to come in the next month or so!
The state rankings are there for teams enjoyment and are a matter of opinion. Even after this weekends tournament and the first 2 weeks of league play I think they are pretty accurate. One win or loss doesn't mean a team will fall or rise in the polls......its about play over a period of time. That is why the rankings have only been updated 3 times. It's not a weekly poll but an overall assessment.
