| Well apparently Huntersville has changed their mind and Gary Pulju said they never agreed to playing in Menahga. Their was a scheduling meeting in early April and that game was on there for Menahga as Bobby Kempenich said they were excited to come play under the lights as their home game.
To make a long story short we are playing in Hubbard on June 21st at 1:30 rather than the game in Menahga on 7/3.
Should I try to get someone to fill that spot?

| I will be there. Just so everyone knows and i'm sure everybody does, its Nimrod on thursday night and Redeye on Friday night with saturday and sunday off in accordance with the 4th of July holiday weekend! As far as uniforms, I was thinking white on thursday and grey on friday since nimrod will wear black i'm sure and redeye only has white and they are the home team on friday?
As far as our play goes...like we talked about, we need to concentrate on the mound, in the field, at the plate and make sure we are in the game every pitch so we can cut down on mental mistakes that might be costing us, we all make errors and such, and the physical errors will happen, but we can also cut down on those and have more focus in our play! We need to play like we are out to prove something, and we are! Don't think we don't have a great team, cuz we do, all teams go thru a downslide and i'm glad we are doing it now and hopefully we will be playing our best baseball during the post season when it really counts!

| Well put Chuke. I will be there for both games. Fiday I will not be able to be there untill almost game time because I work till 6:30, but I will be there as soon as I can. Lets take two and enjoy the weekend off.

| Hank just emailed me and they would rather not play on Thursday since they are a little banged up and will have a hard time getting nine guys. I think it will be OK to not play this Nimrod game as it was just an exhibition game and having a one game week might be OK as we have a lot of ballgames coming up.
Thoughts?

| I guess i'm ok with that, i would love to play but if they aren't going to put forth a team that compete or throw a mush arm i'd rather not play Nimrod then. Unless we have a full squad and we play a lot of guys, then i think it would be beneficial, see what the response is i guess.

| My other thought was we would be able to get the likes of FRD (Rooney), eino, michelson, sean, shroom, puck, and a hand full of others some well-needed at bats so they are even sharper when called upon?! Good chance to get drew's confidence back up? Get eino some innings on the mound along with some other people? Just an idea... i think it would be a good idea to play for those reasons alone! Let me know what you guys think about that!

| As long as all of those guys are coming that works. I don't mind playing that night, we already have the field and umps lined up but let's just make the decision sometime today.
I suppose it will be up to Puck as long as the Gnats can get enough guys.

| Yeah, i suppose some phone calls by the skipper might be in order to see if our guys i mentioned are going to be there?! Would be a great chance for those guys to get some extensive playing time... And then if Nimrod will have enuf as you said hogg is the next question! So, eino, rooney, ben, others let us know if you are gonna be able to play on thursday.

| Aaron just got back to me and said they probably won't be able to get 9 guys there. He said there is a legion and babe ruth game so that takes away like 6 of their guys.
Let's go get the Country Boys on Friday and enjoy the weekend off.
