| Roch's took two from a much improved Wyld Stallyns. These kids can hit and cover the outfield very nicely. Nice job guys you looked good.

This game featured one of the most ridiculous challenges i've ever seen, especially by a team who was getting blown out at the time! A player hits a bomb, almost over the net at club jokes. The player was jogging down the baseline, bat in hand, and touches first base. The player was not being cocky, just hit the home run, bat in hand, touches the bag and goes to the dugout.
CC FIRE, bitches and asks the umps to reverse the home run call..the result: the player on 2nd scores, the batter is out, gets 1 RBI (man on 2nd), and no home run!
the umps exact words: "I could care less if you carried the bat to first or not. Since they made such a big deal about it, i had to enforce the rule."
So, the 2nd bomb that i hit, the bat found its way to the ground.
i know we blew them out and its all for fun, but are you freaking kidding me? Even the umps laughed at the teams desperate attempt to get an out!

| Some people need to get outs any way they can. Some people spend more time reading rule books and by-laws than taking batting practice.

| Shamrock i am not trying to defend my old team but the rules are the rules for a reason. We got an additional out in todays game against patriot because the person running into second didn't slide during a possible double play so he was called for interferance. That runner knew he was clearly out so he didn't bother to slide and was called out after Patriot questioned it. So i personally wouldn't criticize another team for questioning a rule violation.

| It Must be Club Jogues then....Last year It was a single to the out field and Guy on our team then was called out for not droping the bat and touching the base at the same time.

| we won both yesterday came back from 19 to 2 in the 4th to win 32 to 29 in the 7th . rymans walkoff 3 run homerun won it . we rolled the second game . dont know why weimer didnt play the second but he crushed it in the first .
ive seen the bat rule called in tourneys , its a pretty stupid rule . stepping across the plate is a dumb one too but i will get called for it at least twice . pauly got called for it yeasterday. aplus appealed a missed base in a blowout last year . duffy who had a torn acl was rounding third and scoring easily on a espo triple missed the bag by inches . suey called him out . the rules are in the book you gotta play by them . just shows you the usssa umps are alot better than asa umps .

| down 19-2? Thats a story all by itself. RyMan RyMan!! 7-9 4 homeruns including a walkoff. Thats a years worth of stats in one weekend. Lets remember, I discovered RyCobb, The Legend practiced his talents up, and THE COACH is working on him between the ears. Next year you are taking Bob ' the petunia ' Dutillys spot on the PNA roster.
