| Softball Canada revises their rule book on every odd year, so this year is a revision year. Having browsed the new rule book, it seems this year's revisions are very minor in nature.
The only one worth mentioning is that they added a clarification for those games that use over-the-fence homerun limits. A ball that goes off a fielder and directly over the fence (in fair territory) is to be considered a 4-base award and should not count towards the homerun limit.
