| i havent been around long, but is there a reason we have to start playoffs immediately after august? if we finish the rain outs in the beginning of september, the playoffs might run a little into october. but i dont think too many guys would really mind as long as we got all our regular season games in. it might be better than double headers or friday games crammed in during 100 degree weather.

| I kind of agree with this, though I have no problems with monday or friday games, or double headers for that matter. But there is really no reason we can't take an extra couple weeks to finish the season if we need it. The weather certainly isn't an issue. In fact, it's nicer for baseball games at that time of the year than it is in July and August.

| i agree that double headers and additional weeknight games are okay... but it'd be so much better to do it in nice cool weather and still have our friday nights free.
anybody else? are we the only two that have an opinion on this?
