| By the looks of what "many people think," the Knights should never lose a game... ever. They are the greatest team since the '91 Twins or if nothing else, the Phillies last year, nice piece Hill. But if you are going to be the best in the Indy, as "many people think," you should never go down 6-0 to Stanberry.

You also forgot to mention that we then put up 10 runs in 3 innings.

I appreciate the feedback, here's what I was trying to get across. You guys and us have been the top teams in this league for the past few years. Personally, I feel we have just as much or more talent than any team in the league, if we consistently played at our best, we honestly shouldn't lose a game. But it's baseball, and goofy things happen, and not everybody brings their "A" game every week. That's why we play the games. When we do bring our "A" game, I believe it is as good or better than anybody else's in this league.
Also in my opinion, you guys play at a high level very consistently, and that's why you guys do so well. I believe we're more athletically talented (not by a whole lot), but you guys do so many of the little things right so often (which you guys do toot your own horn about often as well), that you're going to beat the teams you should, and beat a lot of teams that maybe on paper you shouldn't because of the things mentioned in this paragraph.
I gave the Ravens a lot of credit in that article because I believe they will be one of the top three teams in this league, and are more athletically talented than anyone other than us. That doesn't mean that either team plays the best baseball, or hustles more than anyone else, which we all know can absolutely overcome a gap in "athleticism".
As for the Stanberry game, we were missing about half of our starting lineup, and had some young guys who haven't played a lot in the game. They stepped up along with our big guns to get the win.
I agree, if we are one of the top teams in the league, we shouldn't get down 6-0 to one of the teams in the bottom half. But, as a good team, we fought back and won the game. I'm sure you guys have never come back to win a game that maybe you had no business winning. It's baseball, good teams can be losing, it's just that instead of folding, they find a way to come back and win.
Keep the comments coming, I love a good discussion, and honestly do appreciate any feedback, positive or negative about what I write. I think getting a little of both means you've written something that people care about.

| I heard some guys talking about this posting and had to check it out. We are better then you. We've beat you more times then not in the last two years and that's all I have to say. I'll take our team and our pitching staff against your team unless you prove me wrong. You haven't done that so why would we think otherwise. Keep talking trash about us and we'll keep beating you. Just keeping it real. You won the league last year, good for you. That doesn't make you the greatest team to ever play in the Independent League. I can't wait to dominate you again.

| Iam a fan of the independent league. I fallow the teams in the paper come to a few games, read blogs on the forums. Its seems that alot of the back and forth blogs are simple ribbing, players having fun. But Danny what the hl is your problem. If you did write it. Like I said most of it is in fun and games but get real. As much as you want to beat the millers play within yourself your to good to go shooting of at the mouth. Your team needs the brill club just as bad as they need the haugen teams it would'nt be much of a leauge without anyone of you. Besides trying to fester up hard feeling between some of your friends on the brill team

| woah waoh woah, everyone take a deep breath. I doubt Dan even wrote that. If he did, I hope no one on my team says anything that rude back to him.
As a team we've worked really hard over the past few years to foster a sense of friendship on and off the field. Even if it was Danny and that's the way he feels, I know a lot of the Knights who don't think that way and who respect us and the way we play the game more than that. We can't let stuff like this get us riled up and say things towards the Knights as a team. This is one individual, not a team statement.
I believe I know Danny and I don't think he would write that, he's smart enough to know that no one has "dominated" anyone in this series. We've had some great games over the past few years and I'm sure we will continue to. If it was Dan, I guess I don't know him as well as I thought. I just want to remind people that we are friends with the Knights and not to lose their cool
