Field in perfect condition, no rain in the sky (and none on the way for a few hours)
Game cancelled so it won't mess up the field for Wednesday's game (guess whose playing).

| I live in Ofallon and we had sprinkles until about 8:30, some were a little heavy at times, but theu didn't last very long. Not sure if these sprinkles were in Cahokia though. May have been enough to be quite annoying though to play baseball or rather than have some guys make a long drive from the Missouri side for a potential rainout. May have been able to get the game in between a few delays every now and then.

| We stayed there for a couple of hours, sitting outside without umbrellas...wondering why we weren't playing.
Some people thought that we already had enough rainouts to make up.
Others were thinking that we spent money on the field to help prevent rainouts (that part worked, the field was excellent).

| who actualy cancelled your game wed. night? was it the groundskeepers or the commish. i cant see the commish canceling games just to piss you off, because he already has about 40 rain outs to put on the schedule. please elaborate a little more Bigsug.

| Tuesday was messed up. I was going to throw with a buddy but after looking at the radar (was right on top of saint louis) and after it started to rain at my place and at the guys place in south county we called it off. 20-30 minutes later around 6:15 did it clear up. Everything about wednesday said rain. Wednesday night, nothing was on the radar. rain expected somtime after 10. enought time to 10 run the Pirates. Leading 5-0 top of fourth, lightning and then a wall of water. left field immediately and went home. downtown cahokia east of 255 dry as a bone. not a drop. but its was spotty. but severe weather was everywhere as we all know. i wished it had been called but damn if you do damn if you don't. Now we have to pay umps again for the makeup.

| You have yet to 10 run us yet so that comment was a little premature dont you think. And as i recall it was 4-0 top of the forth and it was alot closer than you lead on.

I think we just got dissed by Big Papi.Show a little respect big guy.Either you have a bad memory, wasn't there or just fail to realize it (blocking it out).But,The Pirates kicked your ass 19-9 last year.Ouch! How many teams did that to you? The year before that down 9-0 against the mighty Red Sox the Pirates rally for a 15-13 victory that still has Archies head hurting.Did you forget that one? How about the year before that when the Pirates down 3-0 come back and beat The mighty Red Sox 4-3 again.So we've beaten you before and we will beat you again.Be thankful you have pitching because if you didn't you'd be no better than we are.

| How does it go after someone has stuck their foot in their mouth. "I apologize if my comments have offended anyone.." Seriously though, on second thought, I wish I could take that part back. You are right, you have gotten us before and will again and what I said was not called for. I try to give everyone respect and to be nice. Just want to play ball and have a few afterwards. But every now and then my wanna be tough guy persona wants to say something smart to show how funny he is and it always backfires. Again, my bad, won't let this happen again. Seriously.
