| There will be a tournament in Sikeston, MO on the 27th that will benefit some of the Sikeston area clubs, etc. This tournament was called The Freedom Celebration last year.
Payouts:
Based on the teams of course, if we have at least 10 teams entered we will pay out $500 to the first place team, $300 to the second place team, and $200 to the 3rd place team. Total of $1000 paid out. The entry fee will be $200 per team, and the chance of getting the money back is possible for anyone.
Proceeds:
We will pay our umpires and any field fees first. If more than 10 teams enter we may be able to adjust the payouts accordingly. All proceeds will go to the Sikeston Humane Society, and a travelling girls soccer team.
Raffle:
There will be a bat raffle for you to choose the bat of your choice from www.softballerz.com. If you win the raffle, I will give you the information to reach Mick (he runs the site) and you can purchase the bat of your choice. Tickets will be $5 per and $20 will get you 5 tickets.
Concession:
Concessions will be run by the girls soccer team parents, all proceeds benefits the kids.
Home Run Derby:
A homerun derby will be held, and the cost is a $10 donation, or a bag of PURINA (as requested by Sikeston Humane Society) Dog Chow/Puppy Chow. They will be on site to show some of the animals they have up for adoption, and sell other things like t-shirts, etc. Derby payout will be $75 to the winner. NSA bats, NSA balls. Nothing altered
Rules:
Format will be decided on number of teams. Would like a 3 game guarantee on this one.
Homeruns decided at the plate. 2-4-6 and 1 up.
You can buy an additional 3 for $10 IF both teams buy.
20 after 3, 15 after 4, 12 after 5 for run rule.
NSA rules will be followed
One hour time limits. Game ends after both teams have hit (if necessary).
