| In our game against LineDrive. 2nd game Friday night, 1st B Team... I hit a linedrive off the pitchers glove and reached first safely.. Im credited with a "Reached on Error" are linedrives off the pitchers gloves errors? if so then Thats cool, just curious. I personally thought they were hits.

| Scorekeeper, Clearly that isnt Becky, anyway I asked after the game and she said at the time it was a base hit... whoever saw my linedrive bounce 4 times before it hit his glove, get those eyes checked... and nobody is begging for hits. just getting a clarification... Ill try to hit the ball harder so he doesnt catch it, I would LOVE to know who the hardass is.. Cuz theres not many on this team hitting the ball harder then me.

| Hey Frank, at least you realized I didn't make that post. Anyway, I think the reason I scored it in the book at the time as an error was because the second baseman fielded the deflection an subsequently dropped the ball while starting to throw. So, if this is the one I am thinking about the error is marked E4, not E1. Usually, anything up the middle that the pitcher deflects is a hit (unless it is a 4 dribbler..), but I think in this case it was because had the second baseman fielded it cleanly, it would have been an out. Vic can verify where I put the error. If I marked E1, then I agree with you, I made a mistake.

| Well if thats the case then Frank's right its a hit. After it hits off another player its no longer a routine play for any fielder, therefore it would be ruled a hit.
