| I was just sitting here trying to figure out what we are trying to accomplish this year? Do we have any goals? If so, what are they, and what do we need to do to reach those goals? I think we should have a meeting after the game tonight, and talk about what were doing, or trying to do this year.

| All anybody has talked about all year is winning on the 3rd weekend of July. Not that people are singularly focused on winning that one tournament, but that's been the only stated goal by every cat on this team, which is great. Goals are important, but I don't think having stated goals would have made us play better against Wolfe Construction or the Grasshoppers. Personally, I think our goal should be to just play better and smarter every game, mesh with teammates new and old, and play like our asses are on fire with something to prove. Sometimes we expect to win games because of the name on the front our jerseys. To quote Wade Garrett, "That dog won't hunt!"

| I wasnt at tonight's game and hopefully you all aired your concerns after the game if you had any. After this weekends performance, I will only speak for myself and have already addressed with Vince that I took the approach of having fun and then playing ball, that's not me and I hold myself accountable for that. Had fun off the field all day and night Saturday, and then on Sunday felt like crap and just didnt get it done in the Turbo game. I think we as a team thought since we won CVD's last year, that it wouldnt be that hard to do it again, especially since we went 2-0 on Sat. Well we enjoyed ourselves a little too much in my opinion and payed the piper come Sunday morning. I for one will not let that happen. Im not saying dont have a good time, but be ready to play when the time comes, everyone is a grown ass man, have your beers & fun, but when it's time to step between the lines, be prepared to give a 110% for the next 65 minutes.
One last note, we are a priveledged team to play this game, we have sponsors who give us money to go out and have fun, but to also win. It's not our right to play for free, but it's a priveledge, remember that and be grateful for what Buck does for us. He doesnt expect us to win every tourney, but he does expect us to show up and play hard, not what happened on Sunday.
Well that's enough rambling, glad we won tonight, good job fella's and I will see you when I get back from vacation!!!

| I think it's time to turn up about 5 notches, I'm also guilty of not performing to my abilities. I think some of it is injuries and most of it is drinking to much. Todd's right, this is a priveledge to come out and play for vertually nothing. I think we need to do a few things different. communication! are we hitting in the morning before games? who knows? are we going to utah? who knows? are we going to concord? who knows? situational hitting! guy on first and second, no outs, force the ball the other way! guys on second and third, get the ball in the grass! 3-0, 3-1 counts, take a pitch if it's not a pitch you can drive, play the game! When you take BP, work on these situations in your head, don't just go up there, hit your bucket and go talk to someone in the outfield. If your an infielder, take groud balls in your position. outfielders do the same, it's called practice for a reason. We talked last night after the game about hitting 12 for 30 minutes, everyone agreed that its a bad idea. We could only count one game where we scored 20 runs. We should average 20 runs. perfect example, Turbo game last out of the game, 12 hitter. hit 11 who's up, your 4 hitter. 3 ab's a game is not enough. I know that its tough to make the lineup, but we need to do whats best for the TEAM! Lets get it done these next few months, because nationals is right around the corner.

| Hello gentleman, first off i want to say a littlebit about how i feel. I know there are a couple of you Buck players that dont care for me, and thats understandable. last year we had an amazing year from start to finish. We did so good for no reason other than we all meshed and played great. When my wifes sister passed away the end of that feb. i was crushed, i couldnt juggle softball and my emotions for my family at the same time. so i gave up on softball. in the last 9 months ive been on the outside looking into the funest bunch of guys to play ball with. you guys are my brothers and would do anything for you if you ever asked. i have talked too a few of you about playing with you agian and the responses have been good. I know that the 5 or 6 guys you picked up since last year are great but, think about putting 11 on the field that trully want to be there. I guess what im trying to say is that im sorry that when i left the team it was not the right thing to do. i was afraid to so my weekness to my brothers, and what i should of done was talk to them. all of you that read this take into consideration about me playing again. talk it over when the time is right. It might be little to late, but i aint going nowhere, and dont want to play for anyone else. Thanks PJ
