Coments obviously welcome especially if one feels their club was slighted.

*Top to bottom the Riverview is better followed by Park National. Both of these leagues have harder league schedules then Skyline and St. Paul

*Pitching depth in the Riverview far exceeds the other Class A leagues

Which is better A, B or C? Well I have played both A and B and have seen several teams over the years....C is the weaker of the three by far but there are some very good individual players in C as well as some good pitchers.

B gets to draft pitchers or catchers post season but even taking that into consideration I think the top five A teams are right there even with the top five B teams come tourney time.

Depth wise in terms of teams I have to easily give the nod to A from top to bottom even though there are some poor clubs running around in A. The worst teams in A are worse then the weaker teams in B and C well who knows.

Again just dishing up some banter and again stating the point of finding some way to atleast have an A and B combined state tourney with a couple C teams in it.

sorry but it would never work. I like the idea - but the MBA combined with the timing and the politics of bringin fans (or lack there of for A teams) will never allow a combined Tourney. It would be fun and exciting to see who really is the best, but we will never see this type of tourney ever again. For that we can thank Dick's place (old park national team), Mr. Robert's Warriors (current Lyons's Pub), Haleks, Brooklyn Center, etc. who won the state tourney's back when it was combined (there was A & B only) - but they didnt exactly bring tons of fans like those "B" people like to see - so they decided to cut us out. I have a feeling they are strongly opposed to bringing that back. As i said, it would be fun, but dont spend too much time trying to accomplish something that will never come to fruition....
