| Overall state rankings which I am sure will irritate some people and or entire clubs.
1) Cold Spring (19-1) not much to argue here with wins over Park and Tonka
2) Minnetonka (19-2) not much to argue here either.
3) Red Wing (17-2) The Cannon Valley always has been and still is a very tough league from top to bottom perhaps the best in the state.
4) SLP (13-4) four losses to good clubs (Pub, Cold Spring, Green Isle and one of the top ten best pitchers in the state and a 5-6 loss to Edina
5) Chaska (14-4) The River Valley has an argument of being the toughest league in the state too....losses to Mtka, Jordan and Shakopee. Siefert is one of the top ten pitchers in the state
6) Jordan (13-5) split with Chaska thus far and beat Shakopee.....also in the River Valley. Bohnsack and Hollingsworth are top ten pitchers as well in the entire state.
7) Shamrocks (10-3) Just beat Sport and Spine the other day
8) Sport and Spine (13-4)
9) Cobras (11-5) losses to Tonka twice (1-3) and (2-4).....lost to Victoria 1-5
10) Victoria (11-6) Up some years and down others but this could be an up year for them if they keep getting better. Lost 0-5 and 1-5 to Tonka, lost 1-5 to Chaska, and 4-5 to Shakopee. Again River Valley is brutally tough.
11) Shakopee (11-6) River Valley.......losses to Jordan, Park, Chaska and Green Isle
12) Edina (10-6) Number three team in Riverview can't be much lower. Beat Park and lost to Tonka 3-5. First two games of the year with half their club at school were losses to Angles and Lakers.
13) Dundas (12-3) Down some from what I have heard but in Cannon Valley.
14) Green Isle (11-9) relatively tough schedule. Beat park and three losses to Chaska, Shakopee and Jordan. Also boast one of the top ten pitchers in the state.
15) Lyons Pub.....not sure about this one but they always seem to be in the mix in A the past several seasons and they certainly do not lack confidence.
16) Elko (13-4) very weak schedule with losses to Pub and Shakopee. I have heard they don't really get it as they think they are perhaps the best team in the state...not even close regardless of regular season wins against A and B clubs. They would not last three games in a combined A, B and C tourney (double elim)

Now who is left out and fired up?

| It was very generous of you to include the Pub on your top 15 teams list. We have played terrible all season and haven't beaten many quality opponents all year. We do have a weak non-league schedule, but we don't have the "Rube Cred" like other Class A programs to play Red Wing, Miesville, Chaska, Jordan, etc on a yearly basis. It's not like we don't contact the top teams for games....The state's best overall short stop (Pub's) returns to action on Friday after a broken finger cost him all of May and June.
P.S. The best league top to bottom in my humble opinion is the Park National. We can roll out several quality teams that can play with everyone on a nightly basis...Cobras, Wesley, Angels, Rocks, Pup, Lakers and Bombers. All play-off series are a battle no matter the seed.

| Hurto I will always give Pub their/your props regardless of any thing.
Over the past decade or so Pub and Wesley are the creame of the crop in the Park National.
Yet with that being said I again reiterate that the Riverview is the best Class A league in the state.
Case in point....take the Brooklyn Park Hodogs who I believe are playing under .500 abd are towards the bottom in the Riverview.
They ran two guys out against Park that were 85+...they took a lead into the 7th in a pre-determined 9 inning game.....both kids were solid.
Their short stop is very good, they all run well or very fast, are aggressive swingers and their bat runs into the ball most of the time.
There is absolutely no way that they, NW Redhawks, Bandits and Hopkins would finish any lower then slightly above .500 in any other league other then the riverview.
With that being said all three of these team will struggle to make the top six in the riverview (will struggle to make the Riverview six team playoffs.
Last but not least there are probably 15+ pitchers in the Riverview who throw 85 plus and that is in all seriousness.....nearly ever team has a guy like that with another pitch or two and they know how to pitch/are not guys with merely live arms.....
Who knows who the best Class A league is but there is absolutely no possible way that the riverview does not have the best pitching from top to bottom in Class A.
