| I just saw that bud had a forfeit on the 20th. All games were rained out so how does this happen?

| How it happened was, Ben didn't have enough guys for Saturday - he knew it on Friday. He didn't want to have to pay the $100 if he hoped for a guy and then had to forfeit so he opted to forfeit on Friday night. We then scheduled a game with the Pirates in the same time-slot which was rained out.
My thoughts are irrelevant but I did tell Ben that he could wait and pray for rain... Also, the field was probably playable at 3pm.

| The field WAS playable, one of my guys drove by there. I found out the games were rained out when I called Archie at 9:30 and told him we would have enough. I did tell the Bulls and Archie that we wouldn't have enough on Friday...as a courtesy to the league and to the Bulls...I won't make that mistake ever again.
And yeah, there was another game rescheduled for that time slot. I would be okay with getting tagged with a forfeit had they played the game at 3. But since they didn't, I think it's the biggest bunch of horseshit I've come across in 4 years in this league.
I called Archie the night that the Johnny's game was rained out and was told, "we have 33 rainouts, what's one more?" Then told Saturday morning, "we have too many rainouts, it's just not feasible to reschedule yours." Then got the story that he put everything in motion and took the action steps to reschedule it and that's why we get penalized.
Fucking bullshit. However, it's okay to hold us to a game Sat night that wasn't put on the schedule and giving me 3 days notice when people already make plans. If we don't have enough for that one, the A's will find out at 5:45.
