| With no reasoning behind it just an old duff who is not spending time with his family as they sleep.
UPDATED CLASS A RANKINGS......
These are the clubs who I think have the most legit chances of making it to the tourney and in order the teams who I think have the best chance of winning the tourney....including odds
WHO CARES ABOUT MAY JUNE AND MOST OF JULY IT IS ABOUT POST SEASON
1) Park (2:1) 2) Tonka(3:2) 3) Commanding Edge (5:2) 4) Pub (7:1) 5) Cobras (9:2) 6) Air Frieght (10:1) 7) Sport and Spine (11:2) 8) Shamrocks (13:2) 9) Stockmens (14:2) 10) Wesley (15:2) 11) Brooklyn P (20:1) 12) Edina(22:1)(only 3 Riverview teams are in) 13) Rooster (23:1)("Beware of Rooster")
Others:
There are none in my humble old opinion because I don't think any other club has a chance to win it even though I am certain there will be a few other teams not listed above who make the tourney.
Then again it is obviously baseball so anyone could win any game at any time even if they are not included above.
If your club is not listed above do not give up hope.....don't put any merit in these or other rankings.....state your case if you may and or want to but these opinions are based on total opinionated facts regardless of how incorrect my opinions may be in some eyes.
Regards,
"Dime Bag"
P.S. Riverview Final (5:2)

| I think you have to put the shamrocks a bit higher. After taking 3rd last year at the state tournament and seemingly putting it in cruise control lately. They've been picking up wins like nobody's business. Also they added two pretty good pitchers to their staff.
Riverview final? Tonka still has to get past the arm of Lindstrom... Something they rarily do!

| I think the top two are good choices. I don't know that Park would have an edge over Minnetonka, but as reigning champs I can't argue it. I'm just glad we get to play you guys a couple times first to see where each team is at. I'm also glad each team benefited from the folding of The Dogs, however we did get more top end pitching with Ben Hughes, Cordell Greene and #20. It's hard to argue that any team in the state has a rotation/ staff like ours with the five starters Mason, CJ, Erdall, Brox and Greene with legit arms in the pen (Hughes, Amo, Borman, Gator and Biggy) getting the game to arguably the best closer in Riverview history Mr. Geoff Bray. Hard to argue against a team on a twenty game heater when the most feared hitter in the state (arguably) Mr. Tony Richards has only played a handful of games. What happens when he gets back in July???
There will be a few showdowns coming up soon me boys.
Good luck and good health to all as we enjoy the game on these great summer days.

| 4 St. Paul teams in the top 8 of your rankings. Huh! Yeah, I guess the Riverview is better even though Tonka was beat by Sport & Spine this year.
Get real!

| Hey Veteran, How many State Championships won by St. Paul teams lately? How many won by Riverview teams? Figure it out! Until St. Paul or any of the other leagues start to win State, Riverview remains the best league!

| Flare man, I don't play for the shamrocks but I was able to watch all three of the games in where Lindstrom baffled the Millers. I'm just saying baseball is baseball. There is no point to come on here and run your mouth about how many wins you have or whos in your lineup when it really doesn't matter in August. Good luck to you but if the showdown comes a long again, I'll be cheering for Lindstrom to stick it to the Millers again.

| I haven't run my mouth about anything. I have a great deal of respect for a guy who has pitched as well as he has against us. Baseball is baseball and good pitching usually trumphs good hitting. Hopefully, we will get the opportunity to face him again. Riverview is the best and will always be the best as long as TONKA and PARK are playing.

| Pete Rose,
I don't care about the two top teams, the forum is about the best LEAGUE in the state. I'm going off of Conly's rankings and with 4 teams in the top 8 I think that speaks volumes about the St. Paul League.
I'm also going off of facts that a St. Paul league team has matched up well each of the last few years with the top Riverview two. All I know is what I see, and I think if you talking about best two teams, SLP and Tonka are right there, but don't count out Shamrocks, Sport & Spine, Air Freight, Rosetown, and Commanding Edge from being there at State and in the finals.

| Veteran,
Valid points you made. I still believe Riverview is the best league, because this league puts out the best team year in and year out. Their are 4 solid leagues who play ball, and anyone can beat anyone on any given day. That's the beauty of baseball. Good luck to all the teams and may the best team win!!!

| Veteran does make valid points. It has been said way too many times on this site that Tonka and SLP are the best teams right now, but deservingly so. 2 teams certainly don't make the league.(I am sure that the rest of the teams might have somthing to say about that). I think Conley finally got it right in mentioning the Park National League as the best league up and down. certainly no team in that league has jumped to a clear favorite as of yet and another reason why those teams are not reaching very high on in the latest polls. August will be here quick. lets play it out then.
