| Hey.... Got a question for ya. What ever happened to Joe Witt???? He played for the old school Richfield team and then went on over to Park. That man used to mash the ball. I'm guessing you would know why the Bulldogs folded too.
On being a amateur..... we pay to play. When a player gets paid, they are consider professional. That being said, you have a good number of "ex-pros" on the Park team. By looking at your roster, I think you have missed a few that you didn't mention. That's probably where you get all that experience on that dominating team. I think you might have more "ex-pros" than Tonka does.
Another piece of insight. If Manny Ramirez is supposed to be suspended, why is he playing right now?

| New to the site, but I have answers to all your questions...
Manny is allowed ten games to get back in gear in minor league ball starting ten days before his suspension ends. 50 day suspension, he started day 41 in Albuquerque with the Isotopes. Then he will travel to the high A club close to LA so he can join the big club in stride.
The Bloomington Bulldogs folded for a couple of reasons. It was difficult to travel for a lot of our squad and money is obviously an issue right now. Player/ Manager Mike Arlt decided to leave the position (understandably so) and it has worked out well for all parties involved.
Park gains Mike Arlt and Adam Brett.
Edina gains Dallas Jagiela, Matt Voldness and Chad Volbert
Minnetonka adds Don Erdall
Bloomington Bandits add Arron Olson
And I'm not sure what happened to the Lakeville boys like Aaron Larson, Kyle Zweber, John Arlt. Chauncy Haldron and Scott Fern, two pitchers from the U were also with the club.
From Old Timer's post I gathered that Park had 7-8 former pro guys. Minnetonka has fewer that played affiliated ball, but more that played in the Independent pro ranks (Abellera, Amundson, Bigham, Borman, Erdall, Richards, Rutledge, Shallenberger, Woodrow). Only three of those players were in affiliated ball.
Hope this helps!
