| Hey guys. Just wanted to let you know that Todd hurt his thumb pretty seriously today.
He was putting in a fence post and got his right thumb pinched between the post and the fence post driver. He lost the end of his thumb and at last report it sounds like he's going to have a small surgery to shorten the bone and have a skin graft over the end of his thumb.
I'm not sure on the recovery time but I doubt it will be any time soon.
I'll keep you guys posted on anything I find out.

| Just to update the surgery went well and Todd is feeling pretty good. It seems his season is probably over but the thumb is predicted to heal well, just a bit shorter. He's being held at the hospital overnight tonight for observation but it's just precautionary.

| You are exactly right Frank.
No one person is going to fill that void, but we each need to step up our games, and collectively we will make it through. It means we do more little things right, play the fundamental style of baseball we're capable of, and not try to do too much individually.

| I thought it might be a joke, its not. Todd is in rm 203 but will be going home today. He is in pretty good spirits for just having his thumb sliced off. See you all tonight.
