| How far do you wanna go back? The Gators are still the most dominant team over an extended period of time, followed by the steelers and the old M&M. recently the Gunz have been the most consistent followd by the Knights and Chargers

| Are u guys really bringing up the ghost's from the flag football past. Leave them alone, let them sleep. M&M back then didnt face the all around talent week, after week, in league play, or tourny's. For the past 8-10 years Ct flag has been sreious with talent all around, even in B level's. The Gators on the other hand, no doubt about it. The best in ct, THEN, with the most chips, in tourny's too, and most hardware, and the only team from CT, to win a national title. Do to what ever reason, stop Hatin. " Breaking news from the ESPN studio in Times Square'. Ct fan reporting live from New haven, where i just got word that the Titans of CT flag football, The Gators have officially gone into retirement, now becoming one team. The Chargers, where Mr. historian put there name with these other proven teams. Steeler's, led by a very physical style of play made noise for 4-5 years, winning 3 straight, and other chips along the way, a tourny, or two as well. The Young Gunz, remember them in the middle town days, Mr. historian, No u dont. They paid there due's, no they Dominate in every way, power football, w/a nock ur teeth out Defense, winning tourny's, chips, putting together the team the has the second most Hardware next to the Yes, ghost of the past The Gator's. Ct's best team started to travel not even a year ago, now are nationally ranked, and have made alot of noise in national tourny's, could be the next CT team to, you know, we wont jinx them. The Knight's, yeah you could say them too, but could be to soon. Even though they have won the last two Chip's in the waterbury league, 1 indoor, and have helped the Gator's into becoming a ghost from the past, they have only been around for 4 years. They are a distant 5-6th in ct hardware. The Chargers have 1 chip, but 1 big tourny chip, the was a nation sactioned tounry, and its way to soon to put there name in there w/ 2 years under there belt, Mr. historian....

| Slow down CT fan, why are you getting so hostile? You are forgetting or maybe you just don't know whp laid the groung work for flag in CT. Long before there were message boards for you to cry behind teams like M&M(Bridgeport), Brass City(Waterbury), Vision and Dawg City(Hartford) and the Vikings(New Haven) were competing locally and nationally everywhere from Albany to Florida. M&M would play in multiple leagues at the same time and travel to 3 different cities every sunday, including playing in the Long Island league. They did that for 7-8 years and primarily with all their original guys. those 5 teams right there were as good if not better than the top 5 in CT right now. The Gators took the tourch and dominated CT for 4 years, including a national title and a chamionship in long isalnds biggest 8 man tourny. Todays teams are solid but you all whine and cry to much, always begging for respect and recognition. SHUTUPANDPLAYTHEGAME! Steelers id there thing and are still atop team so dont discredit them. They took on the Gators in New Haven and won back to back. The Knights are a solid team that has two belts in waterbury in the last two years. In state they are as tough as anyone just have to find a way to win a tourny to make the chump into the convo with GATORS, M&M, VISION amd STEELERS. The Young Gunz are definetly making a name for themselves and could enter the conversation with either a Win in an out of state tourny or another year on top. the Chargers are a different story, they have a league chip and a major tourny win in the last 6 months so that could help or hurt the young gunz case. Is the comp that much better now or are the Gunz not as dominant as the teams you are comparing them to. If what you say is true, that the gators have joined frces with the Chargers permanetly than watch out cause that would be a team to reckon with. We will see...

| My man, you only mentioned 4 teams in those years, how serious do u think the competition was back then. Flag ootball in Ct back then wasnt as organized, this is why teams would play in out of state leagues. Look at the teams u have now in Ct, Young Gunz, knights, bulldogs, Gators, Chargers, Browns, Oilers, Cowboys, Shaolin, Bucs, etc. its not even close. The Chargers will be good, even more now that the gators split up, and are going to join the Chargers full time. The major tourny win was w/major contraversy........
