| I'm just curious on how we track the total number of games a player must have to be eligible for the playoffs. My guess and the only way is that we just have to show our books if there is an inquiry by the league. I knew everyone on my team must have seven games which was a rule that was decided by the board before the season started so I have really made an effort to abide by this rule. If we want to keep this a rule and really monitor it for next season, then I think that we should give a lineup card to the Commisioner or even a board member after each game. I know it requires a little more work, but just an opinion.

| If you are question about a player, you are supposed to use your books. Then the opponents books are also called into question. Thats why its important to make sure your changes are also recorded in both scorebooks.
For example, I had several people who I knew were cutting it close this season. I would make sure the other teams book recorded my pinch hitters/runners etc (because they are usually the ones who get missed).
We did use line-up cards the past several years. It was extra work so we decided to scrap that this year in hopes that everybody will be honest.
If thats not enough for this year, maybe the league could ask each manager for a "playoff" roster. Once they have it.....publish it to be questioned.
For next year if we see a need for additional measures, I might have an idea that will be simple enough to track all they way through the season
