| Should the director of a tournament be allowed to enter his own team in that tournament? This is a common problem in most tournaments, but what's the answer. This is not a personal dig on Chris, but it seems to take away from the event when the home team wins it. The silverbacks used to get buried for always winning their events too. Should it matter or is it a conflict of interest?

| who gives a shit, what does it matter if chris's team wins it. did the chargers entering the tournament take away from it, no. It only adds to the tourny, with another top notch squad

| No sugarcoat. If Chris is gonna play then someone
else should direct the league not the guy that pays the refs and all that. It just makes teams feel like they have the odds stacked against them. No matter what anyone says those bias calls are out there and they rather leave a bad taste in the opponents mouth to satisfy the boss then disappoint. That's how I feel.

| I could be wrong but don't the teams pay the refs each game? Plus the refs answer to ray not Chris. No sugarcoat it sounds like you don't want the competition

| There were some horrible calls in that game. But the Young Gunz were able to overcome adversity and managed to tie the game up. Don't blame the refs. Blame your QB for a horrible O.T performance.

| No way shape or form do the refs decide the outcome of games. Games are won on the field. I suppose the shot the qb took late in that game was a bad call too. Play the game earn the victory and stop blaming the refs. The leagues and the tourneys have gotten so much better and what would flag football be without a young gunz / charger rivalry.

| when the guns had that stretch of wins and were so hot and were killing everyone there was no talk about who was running it or who pays the refs.. but as soon as the tables turn and you don't repeat in the fall and it becames about the refs and anything to complain about .. you guns always have a reason as to why you can't get the job done. last summer when you took the chip at the same show, not a word about the refs or chris when he handed you that money, that got you to albany how soon you forget, or how about willimantic when the bulldogs ran that tourney and Gonz#22 handed you that cash kitty.. damn....Just play!!!! you guys always have more guys on the sideline then the other team, more talent then the other team, have been together longer than the other team, cry about people recruiting but still have people that play with other teams sneak on the roster and still have a hard time getting it done ..get over it and find a way to get to miami cause thats what this is about....

| First of all I would like to say congrats to the chargers an hob an the redt of the players we will never see again what ever happened to guys playing wit each other that went to school an shit together let alone another state you boys shouldn't even be proud cause u didn't win as ct or the newhaven district u won wit dudes who whoop ur ass out of state an u can't beat them so join them get some pride an don't forget this was a tournament the gunz are the spring champs for the 2nd year an are the team to beat along wit the browns who are champs an the knights who dominate waterbury. Win a tournament wit ur team fella's or fans who ever wrote that dumb ass blog get a life .

| lol damn i see it gets crazy on here... your absolutely right though FAN a.k.a(coward) we shouldnt let the refs determine our wins or loses FUCK IT yea we lost... were down for all the competiton in the world thats what we play for! we dont want to play against any half ass scrubs... like Hov said "bring em out bring em out" the more competition the better... but were still going to make noise with our REGULAR (YG)team and players... CT style ... we have too much pride for that... it was a hard pill to swallow (YEA)... but its not the end there are many more tourney's and the GUNZ will make noise one way or another... believe that! and for anyone else who has something to say about CT and football...IF Ct REALLY wanted to put together a ALLSTAR team, HONESTLY tournaments really wouldnt be any fun and it would A UNANIMOUS DECISION... you thought the OMNI and REAL DEAL team was the truth PSSSS... you dont want to see whats really good!

| Bam good shit u balled out this weekend... people need to understand the chargers are built for tournys while the gunz knights browns etc... were built for league play...now we understand what it takes to go to these tournys and ball its a whole different ball game... bottom line good shit chargers good shit gunz...good shit to everyone who plays on sundays... a good friend who played in his first tourny this weekend said it best.. win or lose being able to play football on sundays we are way more fortunate than most...so respect the game...

| i would say its more a case of the refs not knowing what they are doing. instead of cheating for chris. Chris does alot for ct flag, and deals with alot of shit he shouldn't have to. But most of these refs know very little about football and the rules. They can not have different rules from one day to next or in some cases game to game.

| Hey fellas, gunz love balling against you,you guys are one of the reasons I came back to play along with the rest of cts finest.take it from a wiley vet, I have been on the loosing end of a few bad calls myself, hell ot tossed out of the nationals one year. Don't let it leave a bitter taste for to long, you guys are to better then that.the tourneys have gotten so much better and would be nothing without us doing damage.when a ct team enters a tourney, trust me all the haters know we are come to bring the wood. Let's stop all this, and get ready to take out the elite in albany.I know I will be. We should make it a point to find a spot up there sat night and merge and let albany know who we are on and off the field. Cause you know how we do when we are out of town!!

| Gunz, you are normally a class act and to have someone come out and basically say things are fixed is utter nonsense. Come on be real. Every game between the Chargers and Gunz is a hard fought battle that could go either way. It was a great game and someone had to lose, this time it just happened to be you. If someone else is willing to put the work in that Chris puts in to get these tourneys together then someone step up so we don't have to hear this crap. If not, then quiet that noise and just play. Most Gunz post their names and that gains respect, but a no name post shows no guts and can't be taken seriously. Hope to see you the Gunz in Miami, more teams reppin CT the better.

| The question asked that started this thread was fair and deserving. The truth is running the league is both business and pleasure, otherwise why would anyone put the time, energy, and passion into it. I love tpo play the game of flag and because of that I felt I could make the game we play better by running the events myself. I believe that I have accomplished that, but feel there is much more to do to see CT flag reach its pinnacle. I don't know if having a team that competes in these events is good or bad for the game, but if you know me how could you even ask me to choose one over the other? I've considered not playing but how do I justify that to my teamates, and if I did that would be like admitting that I did something wrong(which I never have). I completely understand the young gunz taking the last game hard, if the shoe was on the other foot(and it has been), I would feel the same way. The truth is I dread the situations that have arisen in so many of our games because for me its a no win situation. I hope that all the teams that compete understand that the bottom line is the growth of the game and when it comes to that the proof is there for all to see, our league and tournament numbers are thru the roof and our top teams are competing on a national level. Ultimetly we will all meet again on the field, and one way or another I will be praying for a blowout be either team when that day comes. When it comes to the board, we all need to take it with a grain of salt and realize this is just entertainment for some. Good luck to all the teams that will be going to Albany and/or who will be battling this fall....remember you guys make CT flag what it is, I'm just trying to steer the ship!

| Fellas, even though I wasn't there, we have to stop crying bout calls made by refs. We do look like some bitches, and it's embarrassing to even say that! We win and lose as a team. Lets get better and close calls made by refs won't determine the outcome. As far as Chris playing on his team, SO WHAT, he loves the game as much as we do. Like Doug said, if its such a problem, someone step up and try to do what Chris has done and is doing for ALL OF US(to much to mention). And the refs don't get paid enough to get the shit they receive from us players, atleast we have some guys willing to put on the stripes on game days to ref us... We don't cry when we win, so lets stop crying when we lose! ITS A GAME, like Ish said- shake hands and till next time... We atleast are fortunate enough to play the best sport in the world- To my gunaz, I love yall and lets make noise with our play and not our mouths in Albany- UNO
