| Tooting my own horn Im 3-1 or 3-0-1 for the first four games.
Im picking Frieght over Moe's
Mtka over Wesley in a great game
Shamrocks over Stillwater
Park over Edge
In the top half of the loosers bracket I pick both Park National teams to win....
Rocks blow out Bandits and Pub blows out Stockmens.
If Park and Tonka's bats heat up I think that they are the only teams who can beat one another.
I have said Riverview final all year and I am still sticking to it.

| Oh Great Oldtimer,
Looks like the St. Paul teams are 3-0 as of right now with the best of them (Shamrocks) making it 4-0 by the time Park takes on the Edge. If the Edge saved Schuld, that will be no easy task for Park. That kid is as big game as it gets and could easily make the St. Paul league teams 5-0 in this tourney by the end of the day.
If that happens, I want you to give the St. Paul league the credit it deserves as the best overall league this year. Hell, there could be an all St. Paul league final and a switch in power if you ask me.

| I cannot argue you any thing you said Vet. Rest assured the St. Paul league is solid and if the Riverview is not the best league this year then St. Paul is for certain.
Whinnery may be the best pitcher in the tourney. Hanahan is one of the best players in the state
Edge is a very very good club
The Shammies are also a good club.
.....I can't say any thing against what you typed.
To be continued Im sure.

| I still say St. Paul is the best league based on the three teams at the state tourney and how they are performing, and also because Sport & Spine and Rosetown would have been tough outs at state as well.
From what I've seen and know, other then Park and Tonka, there isn't much else that the Riverview has. Edina had some guys, but can't make state, Bloomington is not as good as the 4th and 5th place teams in St. Paul, and the only other team I really have seen from the Riverview, Hopkins, tied the Eastside Merchants who finished 8th in the St. Paul league. Hopkins would have lost that game, but the young Merchants gave up 4 runs in the 8th on errors and walks.
I realize that the top two teams in the Riverview are good, but I'm 100% positive that the St. Paul league is the cream of the metro crop.
Peace Out!!!!!

| Man, I sound like a bitter old man.
Best of luck to all the teams at state and I'm looking forward to a good ballgame between Edge and Park.

| I was unable to argue with your previous post and I certainly can't argue now.
The fact is that the three St. Paul teams are undefeated and sit alone atop the winners bracket with Tonka.
Whinnery against Tonka could very well equate to a St. Paul winners bracket final.
Props to the SP league as I don't think as of now anyone could argue with the fact that they had the best three teams as a group during the tourney to this point.
