| Clarkston 6 Adams 3 It is hard to tell much about each team as the weather conditions really hampered play.
I do feel Clarkston has a good to great offense. Able to move the ball on the ground and in the air. Surprise was good D Back coverage.
Adams showed their inexperience at times but revealed an ability to move the ball on the ground particularly when using the QB. I would have liked to see Hammett air a few long passes downfield. He seemed to stick to shorter routes in areas congested by LBs and DBs that resulted in several inteceptions ... he is better than that. The D line did a good job but at times lacked a good rush to the QB and Kickers. Other times they stuffed the run well. Pass covrerage needs to improve as they were vulnerable particularly on long routes . If Adams matures and learns from their loss they can be a very good team. Clarkston will be in the hunt for the OAA Red Title. Adams will be challenged by Southfield, Harrison, and Lake Orion ...and one of those games they must win to make the play offs.
