| Should be interesting. O has a better QB and could be the deciding factor.

| I saw Lathrup in a passing league, they have a couple guys with speed. Overall they have average spead. I like there size a little more as an advantage. They will have to make sure they don't get intoxicated on emotion. That will kill them.

| if the Charger defense comes up with 3 turnovers... I think they spring the upset.

| Speaking of too fast, how about LO? They can score if they feel like it.

| Sure Lathrup could spring the upset. They have the line and horses to do it....but if Lk Orion comes to play ... aint no keepin up with them..they will win going away.

| If Lathrup can get a good pass rush on the Orion QB......and slow down Orions running game....I dont think Orion can win on pass game alone (1 dimensional).....however lathrup will have to put some points up.

| The biggest problem with O, is that had great success last year. Big close game wins. It will be hard for them to repeat because they have a bullseye on there back. I think they will lose 3 games this year. As for Lathrup they get to hyped up when they play. They got to play with there mind not just there athletic ability. Wish I could catch the game.

| I predicted earlier that LO should win this game by 2-3 touchdowns. I still think they find a way to win this game, but it looks like it is going to be a shoot-out. LO's offense does look like it can score at will, but their defense has yet to gel. In all three games so far this year they have had trouble against the pass. Alot of new players on that D. Lake Orion 44 Southfield Lathrup 37

| That offense that Lathrup runs is called the 'battleship'? By far the worst offense I've seen in years. Was expecting a good competitive game tonight was not even close. LO 35-0, and could have been much worse. Besides their big O-line, Lathrup appeared to me to be average at best. Lake O's defense is vulnerable to the pass, but SL could not execute anything through the air. Perhaps this was an off night for SL ?? Help me out here Bug1 !!

| jake~ couldnt agree with u more, tonight i saw a lathrup team that did not look that great at all. yea they had size in the trenches but SL running backs only broke it open for a few big gains and no touchdowns! the way bug put it he made SL sound like the team lake orion would not be able to beat. i was very surprised that lathrup didnt through the ball more after completing a few passes. i would have called more pass plays to exploit LO defensive weakness. i did like the run pass balance that lake orion had. bruce was impressive along with lake orions quarterback (forgot his name) Lathrups next two opponents (Clarkston and West Bloomfield) will walk all over them if they play like they did tonight. I like Lake Orion in their next two games (Athens and Troy)

| Kim Bruce - 140 yards on 11 carries. Dan Ney the Science Guy - 131 yards on 11 carries. I thought SL had the best RBs in the state? 133-13 in the last three meetings... Enough of the nonsense. And LO's pass defense is getting better. That JV call-up looked pretty good. That's very, very bad news for opponents fans that want to think their defense is "not good" and downplay their overall potential. They look bored and win 35-0.

| I'm sure J Davis is a fine running back, just haven't seen him do anything yet to warrant the 'the best RB in the OAA hands down'. and comparing the LO running attack to the SL running game is like comparing apples to pudding. LO has a much more balanced attack and more weapons. I bet if LO gave the ball to Bruce or Stevenson 20-25 times a game they would average 150 yds a game and be considered one of the top RB's in the state, but they tend to spread it out more evenly that that. Bruce 10-15 carries, Stevenson 10-15, Ney 5-10, Nelson 5-10.

| Robinson looked like a nice athletic type WR, but with that offense and the lack of a quality QB, just was not a factor in the game vs LO. Could be a player on the next level though. What's his 40 time ?
