| Playing softball this season for the first time in years made me realize how much i miss playing organized sports. So i was thinking about what to do this winter. And then BAM it hit me. Lets start up a dodge ball league this winter. Does anyone know of a place that we could play. Whether free or rent. I think this is a phenomenal idea. It wouldn't take much to get this thing off the ground. Anyways commments and ideas would be much appreciated.

| dodgeball sounds like a great idea. I dont have any answers as to where to have it or anything, but if something does come together I know me and a lot of friends that would be interested. Im sure finding enough players wouldnt be a problem, I mean who doesnt love dodgeball.

| there are places who have already done this i wanna say sports blast. I know there was a place on the east side of marion that had it on friday nights years ago..Pavillion is a spot you check out we use to have hockey there, we didnt pay anything cause i worked there but you would have to provide insurance or somekind of insurance wavier and building rent is not cheap. However it does sound like fun, but if you wanna play a sport for free in the winter you could join our crew and play roller hockey at ray fosse. Best thing about that is its free.

| Maybe coaches choice mite ba able to accomodate, just trying to think, we need to find an elemintary gym im sure there is one for cheap rent here in marion cuz that is just money in there pocket!!!

| 140 views and only 3 comments. wtf? certainly their are more people interested in dodgeball. Anyways, i like the elementary school gym idea. my only problem with that is basketball season. trying to schedule around practices and games. anymore ideas would be great. i definitely would like to do this in marion. i was thinking dodgeball games go by kinda quick, so my idea was each match consists of the best of 5 games. registration fee would be just enough to cover expenses.

I know theres got to be Someone with a connection to one of those places that reads this!! I think we all understand nothings free! We would pay to play(reasonable fees of course)

| see if you can get a deal on that gym as far as price. let him know we would rent it quite a bit for the games. maybe he'd lower the price a bit.

| the spillertown gym has a basketball league going right now on mondays and tuesdays i think and the gym is 25 per hr. I seriously doubt they will come down any its been that way for a long time. 25 per hour isnt much if u have like 8-10 players per team. They also use the gym for banquets and stuff may be kinda tough u would have to call and see what u can do.

| I'll try to give him a call within the next couple days and see what we can get figured out as far as price and schedule. I need people to post on here if they want to play and/or if they can put a team together. i need to know how many teams we have. It may be lame but im calling dibs on the name "Average Joes"
