Just how good is this Harrison team? If they are as good as some are saying they should beat Farmington by a couple of touchdowns. I think this will be a good close game. Could Farmington spring an upset ....it is possible....but the weight of this resonsibilty falls on the shoulders of their defense. Can the Falcons slow down Harrison's versatile offense led by senior Vince Salatino. Will they be able to cover Harrison's receivers? How will Harrison handle the Falcon's offense? Alot of questions to be answered Friday ...I can't wait.

Harrison has to do one thing stop the farmington running game. Then they will blitz like crazy and put pressure on the farmington QB and win

I don't think Harrison has faced a secondary as good as Farmington's. They are in double digits in int's. It will be close but I think Farmington wins. They are loaded at running back and have the best QB Harrison has faced this year. Farmington will control the clock and force mistakes.

Wow split vote here. This is a tough game to call and now add weather as a factor! I am picking Harrison in a relatively close match say 28 to 17 over the Falcons. I would not be surprised if the score is even closer. I would be surprised if Harrison lost though. Nothing agaisnt the Falcons I feel Harrison has more talent to draw from this year. Good Luck to both teams.

Harrison looses:
Final Score according to mlive is Falcons 30 Hawks 22. First half dominated by Falcon running game. Harrison seems to be a slow started and builds momentum. Bad loss for the Hawks ...great win for the Farmington Falcons.

I still look forward to the Adams game with Harrison. Some of the luster has been removed due to Harrison's loss to a good Farmington team. Not sure how competitive this game will be ... Harrison may get rolled and loose big. Whatever happens they will have something to prove this Friday. As for Adams they have got better as the season has progressed. Reserves have plenty of experience ...they are ready for a post season run.

First Offical Score is 30- 22. What a game! One of the best I have seen. You can keep the stats for all the QB's in the OAA, but the Farmington QB 2 years in a row has lead a huge last minute drive against a 4-1 in 08 and 5-0 in 09 Harrison team and snatched victory from them. Cool, calm a winner.

Listen the Falcons were in the game for 3 qtrs with Adams. They have a good team and Harrison, although disappointed, has nothing to be ashamed of. I believe the Falcons could make some noise in the playoffs.

They could. Rochester Adams is just BIG, and wear you down.

I was at the Adams @ Farmington game.. The Falcons had the ball at the Adams 33 yard line with 3:20 to go in the game, trailing just 23-15, and turned the ball over on a fumble.

In my opinion, Farmington was in that game until the bitter end... forcing several turnovers defensively. Best turnover ratio in the league by far.

So the quarterback from Farmington is cool calm and a winner? Not cool or calm against Southfield or Adams. Throws a late pick to seal the defeat against adams. He beat Harrison twice...congratualtions...Harrison has not been Harrison for several years now...I am sure the qb will have a great playoff game if they get there...kind of like last year...enjoy

Lotsa bitterness there. By the way, why take away from a young player when he has done something good.

It's easy for high school kids to get big heads.... my guess is farmington was reading their preseason press and harrison did the same.. the farmington QB is a junior so his play is inconsitent and with another years experience he'll be better also all QB's play better when the running game is going - Craven had a harder time vs Southfield when the team was negative yds rushing.

Farmington has so many good gamebreaker type of players, that no one player will standout above the others. Each will have there moments. They are a true team. They will only get better. They are starting almost all juniors.

The farmington quarterback is average at best...stats back that up as well...his only big wins are against Harrison...

Flavor sounds personel. You can have your opinion. And I have mine. Southfield sacked him 5 times and they were forced to stop running the ball because they were behind 12-0 in 2 minutes because of a blocked punt and long run by a good back. Adams he played well. I like him better than most in the OAA. So we don't agree that's cool. You don't know much about football do you? That's ok, cause you think I don't either. Be blessed. Jesus loves you.

My comments are based on my observations at the Farmington Adams game. The QB looked solid to me...he took some big hits and still kept his head in the game. Keeping his team in the game against Adams is tough - so he had some sustained drives that he managed...pretty good QB I say particularly in coming back to beat Harrison.

walls, the way you talk about the farmington team you must be a parent. i dont get why parents think that their kids are that great when they are not. you make excuses for the qb and say he is young, but if this is his 2nd year on varsity he no longer should be considered young. no one makes excuses for the LO qb who is younger than farmingtons.....

I am but not the QB's. My opinion I think he's good. And I'm not the only one.

He is average...How many games has he played where he has been the best player on the field? Is he a true quarterback who possess that leadership quality that the players around him look up to? Does he make other players better? His game could be nice but for a second year starter on varsity there should be greater improvement from last year...

you won't change my mind. I know Rochester has a better QB, and Groves does, and Southfield does, and Creek does, and Seaholm does, and so on and so on. Be blessed, Jesus loves you.

Houseopain:
You have taken a negative approach to this conversation. We all have opinions to share. Most of us keep to a positive tone looking at football as game that preaches team work, hard work and improvement. Posters, on this forum, are not here to point out or call out specific players and make negative comments. Football is a team effort. Again most of us choose to be constructive and positive and appreciate the efforts of our OAA players. Win or loose these players are learning the lessons life.

i agree with the last part of what you said. football is the best game i know and has so many life lessons that come with it. i didnt call out any players i just called out the parents. i can have an opinion about parents talking up players right? let the players leave it all out on the field tonight. best of luck

1st I never said anyone player was great. I notice a positive effort and made an opinion. I also stated that there were many players on the team I root for that were game breakers and that they play well as a team and that not one was over the other as far as contribution. I don't get where I stepped out of line. Boonz thanks for your good comment.
