10 in this year from the OAA. Im hoping to see OAA teams advance past the 1st round in Div 1 ,2 , and 3. Some of these teams are capable of going far this year. Who will surprise us out of the OAA this year in the playoffs.

Boon, you'll be happy to know.. teams that will go far: Rochester Adams. VERY favorable bracket. Clarkston will destroy my poor rickety old alma mater in the first round then lose to Grand Blanc. I liked Hazel Park until I saw they had Highland Park looming in round deux, and a mild round of applause for Pontiac hosting a playoff game in its first year of existence? Probably won't win but that's pretty cool anyways.

"Clarkston will destroy my poor rickety old alma mater in the first round"

We're talking about the Lake Orion Dragons right ????

Things are going to be a little different this week. Not sure who wins the rematch yet, but have a pretty good sense that this weeks game will be much more competetive and closer.

Rematch should be closer but not sure the results will be different. Which ever team advances will give Grand Blanc a run for their money.

Hey OAAwhatever....

Pretty much agee with you on your comments.

About Adams:

It appears Adams has a good draw but dont know much about Fenton except that they played and lost big to a good Linden team. Brother Rice is always tough even at 5 and 4. Again I do not know alot about the KLAA North Champs Walled Lk Central except they got blasted by Grand Blanc an undefeated Div 1 team. That being said Adams has played a tougher schedule than everyone except BBR. I predict Adams makes it to regionals.

Ah, yes.. the LO Dragons! Hopefully they'll actually get on the bus this time. Charette is schizoid. Brilliant play, brilliantly horrible play, repeat. It seems like he's only REALLY good when his back is completely against the wall and it's 4th and 35. I was just messing though.. it has to be closer, right? Ctown by a TD.

Fenton lost to Oxford.. yikes. Walled Lake Central is 8-1 getting hammered by Grand Blanc and winning a pretty bad KLAA North. They're the only team above .500 in that league! I'd like Adams in that game obviously but it'll probably be BBR. Much tougher, probably low scoring game and I thoroughly agree.. RAdams to the regionals.

Unless the 3-3 teams get rolling, we'll only put 9 teams in... I expect Avondale and Rochester to take care of biz (4-2).

I would assume the winner of 3-3 Troy at 3-3 Pontiac would get in, and possibly even the loser if they win their last two games to finish 5-4.

I will guess one of the two gets in for sure, and possibly both still.

I think Ferndale will have the opportunity to win and get in against Hazel Park week 9. Unfortunately, I dont think they will win that one.

That's basically my observation Stich. Unless Seaholm gets healthy and kicks some butt, Ferndale could be 'that' team.
