You know it sounds odd to say that when it comes to Paoli Rams Football...I was at the game and it seemed like everybody came out in support you had parents to kids to grandkids coming out...and you had a large amount of fans the actual stands were full and it was a find your place to stand for others...it's weird too see how in just a handful of years the program has went from something to laugh about to somethin ot brag about...I can remember back when The Rams were in their 28 game losing streak and looking around and you knew who the loyal fans were (back in the days where you would ask people to go and they would say no and would reply with "why are you goin to watch them get blownout for?) and you knew that if it's that bad that when the greatness comes like the sectional championship you can have somethin to brag about...It's a once in a lifetime experience and one of these days I can say to those too young to remember that I was there when they won the sectional for the first time in 32 years...I just hope the ride keeps on rolling down the road..you know it would be nice to take a trip to Indy...

Just a little note here and if you are a believer in coincidence...10 years ago when the Basketball Team went to state they beat Mater Dei in Regional then went on to beat Monrovia in Semi-State to get to the state finals...If you look at how it could fall for The Rams football team thsi year the team could travel the same path in beating Mater Dei in Regfional...possibly face Monrovia in Semi-State to get to State...strange

Shizz,
I'm sorry you find those teams of past years laughable. Those kids wanted to win just as bad it just takes a lot of things to make a championship football team. Those kids showed heart, and courage just by sticking with it through the losing years, and faced many opponents that were usually ranked in the top ten of there class such as Brownstown 1, or 2 in 2A. Southridge, North Posey, Tell City, Perry 1, 1A all rank very high.Plus very strong Salem, Corydon, West Washington teams. So to show up on friday you had to have some heart cause it would have been easy to quit! So lets quit hacking on those teams and enjoy this one. Plus it would be odd to meet Monrovia, but more than likely it will be Indianapolis Ritter. Lets beat Mater Dei first though! GO RAMS BEAT THOSE WILDCATS!!!!

Shizz,

I'm very familiar with the 1977 Ram team. Who do you think would win between the 1977 and this years team? This question is also for anybody else who would like to respond.
