| Heard from Phil as well, sounds like the boys played fantastic. This is a team that usually sticks the sword to us, so well done boys. Sorry I couldn't be there to help out.

| Only two periods again! ! Complained loudly about it...That got us an extra 8 minutes, running clock but the automatons that are left to close up Murreyfield on a Sunday had us off bang on 10 pm!
Donny, the whole team played an absolute binder and we held our own all the way through with the score hovering around level pegging to one goal difference. They got a couple of rapid goals late in the second , then the two period ultimatum was announced. We got a goal in the extra time and if there had been a full third period, I am sure we could have pulled it back....in our usual fashion. Not sure If I will agree to a game at Murreyfield, on a Sunday night again, unless there is no Caps game on and we start earlier. I'll get a home game with the Knights and we will rip them a new rectal orifice!!

| Ali was fantastic last night. He let a few duffers in from long range but more than made up for it with big saves during the game.
Not to forget he also had his leg tattooed that day and every shot would have hurt.
Also dont forget we were a line down.... geo, smithy, and donnie.
Everyone played well last night, great team performance. Glad we are not getting pumped this season!

| Avril Reynolds & Scott Robertson were the refs.
Well done Ali, made some big saves and the rebounds, sometimes 2 or 3 shots in a row.
Good effort and everyone looked to have lots of energy left when the game ended - quick shifts are key.
Just a suggestion for future games - if these Edinburgh teams didn't have 15 minute warm-ups then they could get at least 2 x stop clock & 1 running clock periods.

| would it not be better to run the 1st period so we can play stop in the 3rd.
Game just dying out in the 3rd is a pain in the ass. Brians right with the warm ups. Do we need to have 15 mins?
Worth noting for when we have home games. Get the keeper warmed up and a wee stretch out.

| I agree. I don't personally like the 15min warm ups ,I would rather go after about 5mins
