Coming from a Lake Orion fan who was absolutely rooting for Stevenson, I still have to say that Clarkston got screwed twice in the last two minutes of that game. Once on the Bender fumble, and once on the "spike".

I thought the officiating was all around bad. There was the non existent pass interference on the Stevenson player that had me saying "these refs like themselves some Dakota Bender", then that nonsense happened. They still couldve made a stop on the last play. The rhetoric goes full circle.

Wow. Is LO hatred for Clarkston that bad that you would root for someone outside your conference. Dude! I was cheering like crazy for LO last year, all the way to the finals. It is sad commentary when poor officiating controls the outcome of the game.

Personally...I don't really see the point of cheering for a "conference". Let's say you're a Michigan fan...do you cheer for OSU and MSU in their bowl games this year? Personally I wouldn't but I thank you for supporting Lake Orion last year.

Having said that, that is disappointing that you guys would lose because of the officials. Perhaps this will finally lead to a better selection of officials for the playoffs there have been some LO playoff games that were badly officiated.

Absolutely I would and will cheer for OSU and MSU even though I am a Michigan fan.

LO passed through 3 Macomb Red teams last year proving the strength of OAA Red. This year Clarkston did the same, just the officals didn't appear to see it that way in the closing minutes of the 3rd game. Again proving the strength of OAA Red. Respect earned for our conference, two years in a row.

We can only hope the aftermath of this game results in better officiating next year. This seemed to be the year of weak officiating. I saw in too many time this year. Even to the point officals not knowing the rules of the game!
