| What a 2009 season it was for the Lark Tavern Tigers. To think it all began back in January with indoor and the first season of two divsions.
Indoor Team
5-2 record
Lost to the Predators in the first round of the playoffs.
Preseason Tournament
0-2
Lost to the Ruck and O'Learys Lions but somehow was the top finishing "C" team and earned $400.
Spring 2009
11-1
Won C divsion superbowl over Red Front 27-18. Our only loss that season was a tripple OT loss to the Orange Crush (Thanks Carl)
World Cup NIT Tournament in Boston
0-3
Lost in the elimination round in OT vs. Venom a team that has won 3 tournaments in Boston.
Fall 2009
4-4
First season in the B division. 1-3 to start the season, had many injuries and players missing. Finished strong at 3-1, but missing the playoffs for the first time since Fall 2005.
Futures Tournament
4-0
Won the "non" playoff team tournament beating the Grid Iron Bulldogs 23-7. This gave us another $400 prize to put toward the spring season.
Holiday Tournament
2-1
Went 2-0 on Saturday to earn the #3 seed in the elimination round. We lost to a tough Savages team 12-7.
There you have it, the Lark Tavern Tigers year in review. I'm so proud to run this team and I thank each and every person who took the field for me this past year. It was the best year in our history, winning our first championship.
Here is to 2010 for bigger and better things

| It really was a great year to be a Tiger! I am grateful for the opportunity to have fought alongside each and every one of you...and to you, Tom, for running the best, most organized team in the CDFFL. Let's make 2010 even better...starting with an indoor title! WOOOO!
