| Gentleman,
First I want to thank all the CT teams that made the trip down to Miami last weekend for the MCFFU World Championships....EVERYONE played there asses off as CT was the most represented state in the event and we have just scratched the surface.
Although I am still based in Tampa, Fl this year, I have enlisted the help of several capable persons to restore the flag football experience that so many of you have told me was lost or passed over this past fall.
There are a few things happening in the Spring that will give teams multiple options and an overall great flag football experience. Details are upcoming but here is a rough outline of 2010.
Winter/Spring
Late February...........
The GCFFA introduces 7-man Indoor Flag Football, to be held at brand new facility in Waterbury.......similar to N. Branford but larger fields, better competition, MCFFU rulebook including stiffarms etc. Overall, a league designed for flag football, not a side note to fill time slots!

End of March......until June
The GCFFA along with the NEW HFFL(Hartford Flag Football League) will be unveiling THE ONLY CHOICE FOR FLAG FOOTBALL IN THE CAPITAL AREA! Commissioner Antwon Blunt and his team will be taking the game to a new level with top flight facilities, website, statistics, prizes and commitment to the players!

End of March.......until June
This ones for the BIG BOYS near and far...The GCFFA 9-MAN PRO LEAGUE will be taking place in West Haven CT. Featuring night games under the lights on newly remodeled field turf, this league will be by invitation only to the highest level of flag in the tri-state/new england area. An MCFFU sanctioned league with unique corporate sponsorships and a World Championship feel, we are looking for teams dedicated to the national flag football circuit and that are willing to provide these new sponsor with a viable marketbase.

Summer 2010........
For the 2nd consecutive year the GCFFA will be having our Shelton 9-man league....HOWEVER this year teams will be able to roll directly from spring ball into the Summer league without missing a game. Again, MCFFU rules apply for what is already looking like a 14+ team league!

While leagues are tremendous fun, most of you know that the GCFFA has become well known throughout the northeast and the Nation as a premier host for BIG TIME 9-man tournaments. With the success of last years events, we have been asked to host numerous regional and national 9-man events this year starting in mid April with our MCFFU/GCFFA CT NIT!!!
