| I just want to post this as a plea to everyone in this league, to please respect the fact that we're not allowed on any field in Coventry, with the exception of Club Jogues until April 1st. I ask this as the Vice President of the league as well as a coach that doesn't want to lose any fields that the town of Coventry allows us to play on. If they were to find out any of our players practicing on our fields prior to the date we're allowed to use these said fields, I know for sure they would repremand us and take away these fields which would punish us as a league. Please just wait until April 1st or practice somewhere other than Coventry fields. As a league, we need everyone's support.

| Dionne, you suck. Now to get more on topic. I will honor your request, but I have to ask this. Why the hell are we not allowed to use the fields until April 1st? I saw no less than 3 different families on the soccer field across from that dump of a field at fish hill. I don't understand why soccer mom's can use the fields but the players in the league cant knock a few balls around. Probably sounds more harsh than it is intended but to me it makes absolutely no sense.
In closing, Dionne, you suck.

| The town is really cracking down on this big time this year. I don't know why soccer is allowed and we're not, I do know that Club Jogues is open for practice, just call Hodde.

| I will also agree to stay off the fields till 4/1/10. But i will ask this question though?
If no rosters signed yet arn't we just residents? But i understand whats at stake here so i will obey the asking of the league

| Ryno I totally agree with you. Apparently the dictator in the parks & rec. dept. wants to play the "economy" card. He wants to keep a strangle hold on the leagues sack, and soak as much money as he can from a non-profit organization. Only cost is to mow the weeds. Gasoline has gone down in the last few years, and highly doubt the town workers have gotten much of raise either. But I do agree with the board of execs over Coventry Softball, we should refrain from being on those precious fields until we are clear to play. Dionne was doing all of us a good deed by posting this. Even though 99.999999% agree it is totally ludacris. Oh well think I may take my dog for a walk at Foster Field, ooops
