Entry Fee: $550 PRO Division and $450 OPEN Division
****GCFFA sanctioned league teams, including HFFL(Hartford), NFFL(White plains,NY), SHAFFL(Shelton), and UAC(Waterbury) are eligible for discounted rate! Call for more information***
Ref fees $45 per game
Format: Pool Play on Saturday/Single Elimination on Sunday
Rules: MCFFU Rulebook
MCFFU Points: 300 pts
Important Tournament Notes
* OPEN Division is dependent on a minimum of 8 paid teams If there are not 8 teams than those teams who have registered for Open will have the choice to play in the PRO Division ($100 extra) or be refunded their entry fee
* Registration Deadline is Saturday, April 10th **NO EXCEPTIONS**
* All teams advance to Sunday
* No overtime games on Saturday
* Teams must comply with the MCFFU Uniform Policy of matching tops with numbers on the back and shorts/pants of the same color
* No team is counted as in until full payment is received
* All teams responsible for keeping their sideline clean
* Schedule will be posted no later then Wednesday April 14th
* Teams will be seeded for Sunday based off Saturday results using the following formula: 1) Record 2) Head to Head 3) PF/PA 4) PA 5) Coin Toss

| We will ensure that NO team will be penalized for participation in tournament play either in our own events or any MCFFU events as we encourage CT teams to compete against the highest level of competition and to continue to represent CT as one of the fastest growing 9-man communities in the nation.
We have come a long way in the 9-man game over the last three years and now boast 3 teams ranked in the TOP 25 in the Nation and have several more teams who have represented well in recent events vs the national elite. In order for us to continue to attract the top teams in the country to come to CT for an event we must keep raising the level in which CT plays ball. Every year we have added 1 or 2 teams to the "competitive" ranks and its only just begun. With that said a team should not have to choose between scheduled league games and tournaments sanctioned by the same people who sanction and run your league.
As far as this Aprils event is concerned, both myself and Antwon would like to see not just a few teams but all the Hartford league, Shelton league, Waterbury league and White Plains league teams participate. The GCFFA is offering a considerable discount to all teams, both PRO and OPEN, who wish to play in this national event. If there is enough interest the league will be postponed for that weekend and made up as part of doubleheaders throughout the remaining 8 weeks of the season.
This event is likely to feature 18-24 PRO division teams and 8-10 OPEN division teams from all over the country. I would hope teams are eager to show the rest of the flag world exactly how we get down in CT. Also for those who don't know we have averaged over $2500 per event in CASH and PRIZES to the winners! The bigger the event the bigger the POT!!!
