| Still early.... Berkley and Seaholm battle it out in the White,
Red - LO and Clk
White - this is the tough one, Adams favorite as usual, but what will Oxford bring could see a tie or at least a number of teams with the same record in the second place spot

| I'm still shaking my head that seaholm is even mentioned!! lol!!..(yes...that was harsh!) i also wouldnt be so quick to just hand the white to Adams! They lost allot of talent while a few other teams seem to keep rolling. Oxford will make things interesting also!.. (really?...seaholm?..ok...) lol!!

| I agree with the Clarkston and Orion picks, Troy graduated everybody and not to many skill players left. The White Division will be a toss up. I do not know much about Avondale's returners, but agree Berkley and Seaholm we be in the mix. Can someone help me out with some specifics on Avondale?

| dirtybird I respectfully disagree with you. Seaholm has every right to be predicted at the top of the Blue and I think they will go out and prove it too. Shawn Conway is the 4th rated player in the state, a true playmaker. They return 4 offensive line starters including state power lifting champion Dan Gibbs. Also 6-8 returing defensive starters and solid special teams units. Berkley and Avondale will be tough though, that is agreed. As far as the white goes I would predict Adams and in the Red Lake Orion- no surprises there.

| I feel Seaholm will end up 4 n 5. Rochester Adams reign will end this year, white division way to strong. I like Farmington or Southfield this year. Lake Orion in the red.

| Whats Everyone!??!
Look forward to another fun filled (surprised filled) season. I can't believe that we r just weeks away from the season opener.
With the juggling of OAA teams between divisions and the addition of a few teams .... who knows what happens this year?
In the OAA Red Division the Lake Orion Dragons should dominate on the strength of their QB.
White is a toss up with Adams rebuilding this year..but Pattrito will keep them in the hunt. Oxford is getting some press as a possible contender...Harrison is likely to be in the hunt. I would not discount any team in the white making a run this year.
Blue Division who knows? Several new teams in this division make it interesting and Seaholm a possible contender .... Good for them! Sounds like a good move for them to the Blue Division.
Look forward to debate, opinions and dialogue on OAA football this year!

| Stopped in and checked out Lake Orion at green and white night Friday. My thoughts......
Again, this team will be led by their high power offense. QB Charette was always pretty accurate and composed, looks like his arm strength is much better this season. Should have a big year, because LO is loaded with weapons on offense. They must have used 8-10 WR's during this scrimmage. The 4 that may have an impact should be: Zott, especially in the red zone, Ester and Aeillo will be the chain movers, and Ney the deep threat. Also expect Ney to get 5-10 touches on the end around. Three Rb's saw touches, but this year Stevenson should see 75% of the carries. Did not recognize anyone on the O-line, so that could be an issue.
On defense.....maybe it was because they were in white?? But this defense looked really small. D-line like O-line will have alot of new faces. Gall will be a force at LB, and two pretty good DB's with Fine and Dolinski (I think thats his name).
Kicking / Special team looked pretty solid. 2 returns for TD's and the K nailed a 50 yarder.

| Interesting poll results for the OAA red.
Pontiac receiving alot of love, leading the way with 25% of the vote. Just my opinion, but I think Pontiac will struggle to duplicate last seasons success. Great story last year, with the combining of the two programs and the success they had. I think the fairytale may be over, they might only win 3-4 games this season.

| Attended the seaholm innersquad scrimmage tonight... Shawn Conway scored 3 TD's receiving all from Glazier. Glazier is shaping up to be the starter there. Unproven on varsity, we'll see how he'll do at the helm. Glazier ended up with 4 passing TD's total (3 to Conway, 1 to Scott Anderson). The offense is looking a force to be reckoned with at seaholm. Many new, young pass catchers such as the afore mentioned Anderson, J.D. Hess, and Kai Czaijka are looking like very solid secondary options to Conway. Kevin Wilberding and Mike Nasolski run the ball hard and the O-line looked great early, but ended up getting fatigued later in the scrimmage. Seeing Daniel Gibbs in person for the first time is incredible, the kid is NFL size. The defense showed that they're vulnerable- especially in the secondary, but people have told me that they are haunted by injuries there. Neil Page got to the QB on almost every pass play and Tommy Lewis is great pursuing to the ball every play. I saw Chris Barr on the sideline in street clothes, I'm assuming that there is a minor injury, he didn't seem too bothered by anything. This team is looking ready to go as their season opens up August 26 vs North Farmington.

| I think Pontiac has the potential to suprise some teams. They will be tough for several teams in the Red (Royal Oak, Rochester, Troy) but will probably not get past the Big Three (L.O., Clarkston, Athens). That makes the crossover game with the White a huge game as well as the games with Oak Park and Lathrup. Win six and there in!

| Mark Cargle played at Waterford Mott last year after transfering over from Pontiac. He then "moved" back to Pontiac halfway through the 2nd semmester! That should send a "Red Flag" up as far as his eligibility to play this fall at Pontiac. The rules are for everyone!!!

| Know that the week one games are completed I go back to review my preseason picks of March 19th. Lake Orion won in a route, Adams beat Clarkston, and Seaholm lived up to the preseason hype by beating up on North Farmington. So far it looks like those predictions will hold up thru the rest of the season. Red Champ L.O., White Champ Adams, and Blue Champ Seaholm.

| just a question oaainsider. how do you figure athens is part of big three? when the past few years it has been LO, Ctown, and Troy. just funny how athens all of a sudden became that much better. when in fact they were not tested by a very weak mott team.

| Putting Athens ahead of Troy this year is based on the Colts not having much of a passing attack. The Colts have an inexperienced Sr. QB and a Soph number two. Although thier win against Romeo certainly turned some heads, I think the Colts will have a rough time winning six games this year. Just one guys opinion.

| Right i understand the inexpierience but do remember that athens has a junior qb starting for the first time. although he did have a strong showing against a less then impresive Warren Mott team, i just dont see him having much success either. But also remember friday night that Troy did not need to throw the ball, they only threw the ball 4 times and completed all of them. so in essence they didnt even need to throw the ball. but if they did it seemed like they could've thrown the ball all over romeo. idk it just doesnt make sense to say that athens is the better team.
