| 10U AA Carrollton CATS team
We will be holding an open team tryout for our Spring 2010 season this Sunday, March 28th from 2pm-4pm at Thomas Field #1 (1950 N Perry Road, Carrollton, TX 75007)
The 10U AA Carrollton CATS team (Carrollton, TX) was established in August 2009.
Our team is represented by coaches and parents who are dedicated to the athletic, social and spiritual development of each player. We will - to the best of our abilities - support, nurture and teach players to
• Have fun playing the game
• Feel like an important part of the team regardless of performance
• Learning "life lessons" that have value beyond the playing field
• Learn the skills, tactics and strategies of the game.
• Improve as a player while giving your best effort.
We follow "select/tournament 10U rules" which include 6 innings of kid pitch, bunts, lead-offs, pitching from the stretch, balks, steals, dropped 3rd strikes, signs, etc.
Age pure "10U" age chart shows (10 = 5/1/1999 - 4/30/2000)

Our plans for the Spring season currently includes to target the following three opportunities
a) Play in a newly formed Sunday Series - hosted by The Colony Select Baseball League at their Five-Star complex in the Colony (approx 7-8 games)
b) AAYBA tournament July 17th-24th - 7 game series
c) Enter one additional local tournament (possibly TNT Wood Bat 10U 7/23-7/25th)
We are a fun and serious group dedicated to aggressively advancing our level of performance. If you are a player that desires this sort of opportunity and challenge, attend the tryouts.
