| whoever made the schedule was really thoughtful. It is AWESOME (sarcasm) that they have you playing Hayward at 7:30 pm in Hayward the last week in July then the Knights the next day at 1 in Haugen. WTF!

| Also at home against Knights early in season and then away late in season again.
Having said that, when there are changes in who does scheduling, there will be disadvantages...still have to play and win. We will be just fine

| They call it a baseball game for a reason. You still have to show up and play the game. Some days are going to be better than others regardless of where and when you play.

| I agree with everyone who's posted so far on this issue. We do have to show up and play the games and I like our chances regardless. That being said, I think we need to be mindful next year and when it comes to the scheduling make our point heard that we do not want the exact same schedule year after year. This year, at least with Brill vs Knights, is almost an exact replay of last year in terms of time of year the games are played and who's home or away.

| Having an idea of what it takes to put together a schedule for the league, I understand why the schedule gets sort of duplicated from one year to the next. When you take into account special requests (every team has some for weddings, special home games etc..) it gets to be pretty complicated to make sure that everyone has the right number of home games and that all the conflicts work themselves out.
Look at it this way-if our goal is win a state title, what better way to get ready than to play a tough schedule towards the end of the year? Besides, we play enough at Haugen that it's not like we aren't comfortable on that field anyway.

| If we can't compete back to back days against Hayward and Haugen....our chances of going anywhere in the playoffs are very slim.

| I think the point of the person was a night game an hour away from home followed by a tough early game.

| ...and that is why the Brill Millers are a winning team. The responses in this post reflect the winning spirit and positive outlook that it takes to win games. From the sounds of it, you guys are going to really kick some ass!

| Let's move all Brill/Knights games to Meggers and Moore's at the college. Megger's is the Knight's home field, Brill gets Moore's. That should solve it.

| I'm sitting here looking at 2 side by side 18 inch wide screen monitors, so no that's not the issue.
Its better, still a bit wide though.
