Yo I don't know who wrote that but I don't think it was anybody on my team. Vikes know we don't feel that way about them, I got alot of respect for alot of yall players. Friends with most of yall off the field too. There is only a few people from Starrs who even go on the website, and none of them wrote this. Who do you play for? If it's not the YGs, the Starrs, or a team that's actually in contention... you really ought to worry about your own team getting some W's or putting up some points.
Everyone seems to worry more about rankings of OTHER teams in the league, instead of what their own team is doing. Half the teams complaining, aren't even in the top 10.
As others have said before, rankings really don't mean shit... it's what you do in the playoffs, and some of these teams talking shit won't even be in playoffs.
You guys can talk shit, and call our O-Line "Fat" or whatever... but we actually have O-Line man, not some high school LBer who's too fat to play position, or some big ass dude they met at the gym, work, or club, that has no idea how to pass set.
When we call plays, and call protection, it makes sense to our guys, they get to the correct depth, take the right steps, and use the right leverage to give our QB the best chance for success.

If it was someone on Steelers saying that both teams "stink" then I have to say they are wrong. Its clear that both teams dont "stink" or the entire league minus a few teams do if thats the case. Second we play in the Enfield League a good league but without downfield blocking but also in tournaments and the Springfield league. We just play indoor for hahas in the offseason. Third I played in the Hartford League two years ago and made the championship with NEFA. Just didn't play last year cause I tore my ACL playing basketball. I didn't make our schedule we came here to play the best not to avoid you guys or anyone else. We aren't no upstart team from a little Dome in East Windsor though just want you to know that.

That last drive, I think we only got one call, the roughing the passer, which your #68 basically jumped and landed on Scotts arm. You had about 5 offsides calls that you guys did on purpose. Besides the diving penalty, which should have resulted in a spot foul and an untimed play, it was close both ways.

Article X, Rule 3 (D) - Diving with clear field from the playing field to the end zone, the score will be awarded and the penalty will be enforced on the extra point attempt.

There is no diving in flag football, I havent seen anybody dive in 3 years and not be awarded a penalty. Ive never played in a flag league where diving is allowed. For one, how can u flag someone who is diving without tackling them.

Clear field is up to the refs and what they determine. Regardless, Vikings should have gotten another play. If the play results in a TD then there has to be another play following it. A team accepting or declining a penalty can not get "the best of both" when penalties r called. Diving is NOT a Los Of Down Penalty, and should have resulted in a 5 yard spot foul, and a replay of 4th down. And "yes" a player is allowed to reach over the goal line to advance the ball regardless of where the players flags/body is. That was questioned on the play before when the Vikings WR reached into the endzone but was ruled out at the one.
You hate to have controversy in such a good game... But when the refs take over a game, and don't take the time to sort it out correctly, teams are going to get heated. No big deal though, both teams are well aware that the Viking went 82 yards in 56 seconds and got into the endzone twice. But a win is a win, and it looks like Starrs came away with it

I do know that we were the better team and the Starrs were given a win based on a rule that has no definition. And I'm sorry the rules are different in flag then in college, but we both ended up in the same league now, and different rules apply. I'm not saying we played good today, cuz we really didnt. But to me the team who plays better is the team who was never down in a game, had 0 turnovers, and 1 turnover forced defensively, and did not have to drive 85 yards with under a minute to win. I respect you and your team, but I am a competitor and I have never lost a game where you score and the ref signals Touchdown and then they say no points game over...the other team wins.
We had an awful first half with a lot of turnovers, so we definitely could say we didn't play our best to win...but I'm just heated by the end result. It is only flag football and just a regular season game, but I just know that I can't be there for the playoffs and it sucks to lose a game decided by some rule that no one seems to have a clear explanation.

Where have you ever seen an offensive penalty that resulted in an untimed play, it doesn't happen in college or the NFL or any flag football league, what makes this play any different.
Holding, blocking in the back, offensive pass interference, clipping whatever, none of them result in another play being awarded to the offense, why would this play be any different.

Mason, you're actually wrong
If there is a holding penalty, on the last play of the game, that results in a TD, then the Defense MUST Accept the penalty. If they DECLINE the penalty, then it is a TD. If they ACCEPT the penalty, then the PLAY CLOCK would begin when the ball is spotted at the new spot (minus the penalty yardage). The offense would then get a final play, from the new spot, which would be UN-TIMED (accept for the play clock prior to the snap of the ball).
If it is a PENALTY that does not allow the DEFENSE to ACCEPT or DECLINE (i.e. Personal Foul), then it is marked off from the spot of the END of the play, or on the TRY or Kick-Off, if the play resulted in a TD.

Good game Starrs...Good ass game. But seriously, that game was your Super Bowl. We were, and still are the best team you will play all season. And just to set everything straight....You guys WON the game, you damn sure didn't BEAT us. We beat our selfs with questionable play calling, decision making and, personnel. But if you would have truly BEAT us like you all try to make it seem like, then we would not have been in the position to win the game with under a minute left. It goes on your record as a W but I wouldn't be so excited about it like you guys all are, you would've thought you mofos won the fucking Rose Bowl the way ya'll acting and posting shit...lol...Christmas came early for you fellas, enjoy the W but, don't let it go to your heads, it was one game and there are plenty more left to play. haha alright Smitty, good game to you too brotha. That was no Super Bowl for us though, if you know how I am and my team is we take it one game at a time. Did I want to win that game bad? Hell yea. Yall left me without a team 1 month before the season. Think its clear I wanted that W. Did we play our best game? Hell no, if youve watched us play before offensively that was nothing close to our best, one of our best wrs and players (and one of the best and under rated wrs in this league hands down) was not even at the game with an injury. We were short handed, 5 starters were not in attendance, so maybe thats where your confused. We were happy to escape with a win being short handed. But good game, I hope we see yall again too. Dont want this penalty to be an excuse forever, ill be happy to see Vikings again with no wind, no injuries, no excuses in the playoffs my dude. Until then, good luck to Vikes.

Whats good Zo? Yo I didn't mean that negatively or anything, just expressing that we wanted to beat Vikings pretty bad Sunday. There was never a question of my play with them, D Perry Lloyd Pig Pen they all had no issues with how I played and what I brought to that team, and they decision was not an easy one. But yea, I knew about a month before the Spring Tournament that I didnt have a team and 2 of my WRs who I play with Year Round were commited with Vikings, and had to either get on a squad or get my own squad in here. Its all good though, Scott a hell of a QB too, so I don't think they made the wrong move. Im doin my own thing, got no hard feelings for ne body over there. Ready for this Sunday to keep our win streak going.

The Vikings had to think long and hard bout who it wanted to have as the Signal Caller. It was no dis-respect to anybody.
we had to go with who was goin to be around Spring and Fall and had to see if players were goin to be in favor one way or the other. Players were fine either way so it came down to who could be here Spring and Fall.
