| Well - Big ups to all of the teams that competed in the Metro Cup this past weekend, but a special shout out to the winners:
A - DOMINION
B - GAMEBREAKERS
C - GRIDIRON DISCIPLES
I would truly like to that everyone that assisted me in Directing Mike Cihon's USFTL Metro Cup tournament - from the refs, players, and to the fans. Everyone was on their best behavior and the best teams that played the best ball this weekend came out on top. Much respect to my Ohio (see you cats at the Refs Cup Uno Nueve and the rest of the Ohio ballers that I finally had a chance to meet) and Carolina buddies (and of course Scotty and his Show Time mob) for dancing to our beat. I must say this, the Metro Cup is something that the entire DMV takes pride in. We all played a role in making sure that it's done right. I am just honored to be the Director; but the entire DMV actually runs the event. A final shout out to Coach Melvin Pickett (DC Jets), my main man Mo (Coleman Clan), and Coach B (DC Outcast) for making sure the fields and tournament info was distributed to the teams. I am just now recovering from all of the fun and comradery - and look forward to future competitive events this year. The USFTL is the place to be.
