| Steelers v. bulldogs
just 3 weeks ago this team was thought to be invincible and now a lost this weekend could mean their playoff hopes are on the line.
the steelers may not admitt it, but this is a must win situation for them. if the steelers take this lost there has to be a panic button that goes off in steeler land. yes their season is on the brink this weekend- if they lose a third straight game to a third straight top team, one has to wonder are they really a top team? as it sits, taking this lost will drop them in the rankings while other teams are surging and them along with the vikings could find themselves scambling and having to play through saturday just to make the playoffs on sunday.
you would have to consider the bulldogs the favorite coming into this contest winning 5 straight convencingly and they are clicking in all the right areas right now, and quite honestly, they dont look very beatable. on the other hand the steelers lost 2 straight and they look very beatable, right now is a good time for any team to play the steelers (especially if your the bulldogs), seems like they are still trying to find themselves.
now its not all bad for steeler land, a win for them would be a good win, certainly much needed, and it puts them right back in the thick of things. a win will also heal some of the many concerns the steelers have within themselves.
this is the weekend the league and fans have been waiting for, this is the game that we will all see what the steelers are made of, this is the ultimate and true test for the steelers, this is the game that will put the steelers in their repective place and let us all know who's who in the hffl. live or die, for the steelers, its do or die.
