| I can smell the summer air!!! That only means one thing.............. BALLIN' FOR AUTISM
This year the Ballin' For Autism committee has decided to run a flag football tournament. We decided to move away from the basketball event to attract more people and more BALLERS'!!! Below is all the information you need. Sign your team up and read about all the prizes you can play for. The best thing is that all the proceeds go to a fabulous cause. Stay tuned for more ways you can contribute and information about the next movement: Ballin' For Autism.
CALLING ALL BALLERS'
When: 9:00 am-8:00 pm on July 31st, 2010
Where: Falcon Field Meriden, CT For directions visit the website below http://falconbmx.com/Directions.htm
Who: Flag Football Teams (Max 14 players)
What: A competitive event to raise autism awareness and money to support the needs of children with autism.
Teams will compete in a 7 on 7 (with lineman) flag football tournament. It will be a pool play style format. There will be four 10 minute quarters. I will accept no more than 16 teams. If there is a higher demand I will rent another football field venue. Commissioner Adamis "Pito" Gonzalez and the rest of the Ballin' For Autism committee are still finalizing the rules.
Cost: 225 per team
General Admission: $5.00
Top Prize: The winning team will receive 2 free hotel fares for one night. Valid up to a year at any location in the United States. In addition each team will receive various gift cards to family restaurants.
Sabby's game breaker awards: A committee will be formed to award the following players who compete in Ballin' For Autism. Accurate stats will be kept. Criteria for each category coming soon. 1. Best Hands: A pair of Nike Receiver Gloves 2. Golden Arm: NFL Jersey apparel (winners choice) 3. Relentless Defender: A pair of Nike cleats: value of $90. 4. Ballin' M.V.P: Trophy, M.V.P T-Shirt and Free dinner for two at the Angry Olive in Rocky Hill, CT.
