Isabella is a 3 yr old little girl from WW who's family needs to raise 15k to get her in a specialized learning program, having a special needs neice this is near and dear to my heart.
They have raised 7k so far but if they don't come up with the rest of the money by next week, she will be removed from the waiting list for the program that she is on.
I have committed to raising 5k for their family and am short and was wondering if all the managers this sunday could pass the word ahead of time and pass a hat for their own teams and raise some money that we can give from the CSPL.
I would hate to see Isabella taken off the waiting list and am asking for everyone's help.
I have to leave early on Sunday but thought I could hook up with each manager or give to Ian after the games and I will take it from there, or i will drive to wherever the managers are, Sunday night.
I know it is tough out there but I'm sure we could all afford to donate a little cash for such a good cause.
Anyone writing checks please make them payable to the Isabella Faith Miller Fund, that was for you lb4lb, help me lead by example.
Please give me some input as to if we can and will do this.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
Sincerely,
Tuck

Tuck, I am with you ..as always. Whatever Ryno and Stevens gives..I will double. Whatever Ryman gives...I will give X 1000 ( zero times anything is 0 so I am safe there ). Its not easy to ask for money ( unless your name is smith....) Tuck so thanks for asking and our team will support your cause. If this ends up paying for plane tickets to the worlds...you are dead.

Thanks again for the support, please pass the word to the other teams that may not come on the board.

I have a Red Mayhem replacement that i have been considering selling I will sell it for $100 if someone buys it before sunday and i will donate the $100 to the family. The way i see it is someone will get a nice bat and the family will get another $100 and with 4 ab's for the season i really don't think i need the bat as bad as they could use the money. 300-1655

not a chance EW.....I dont believe it. he wont part with a fifty. tucker must have given him a fifty and that does not count. I want more info on this ISM girl. I am not usually one for " watering the weeds" . I am for anything Tucker, however....very conflicted. Its like the celebrity death pool league I belong to...I actually was rooting for John Wooden to pass because i am so far behind in the standings I needed some points. With Corey Haim and Arnold and Hopper and McClanhan...I was behind...but no longer! By the way...me and Sleeze are in the CMSL Death Pool. I got Hodde Demonti Raymond Ryno and Stevens. He has Jackson Fiskey Gopher Delpadre and lawnman. Obviously, so far, nothing...........

Also, KD thanks a lot.

If there are any other please call me at 996-5498, so I can make plans to pick up the donations.
So far thanks for those teams listed above as between them we raised over $500 and their are 10 other teams that I have not heard from yet.
Thanks again.

The support I have received through all my channels has been phenominal, we raised 4k, the family is only short $4000 of their total goal and I have not heard from 9 teams.
With what was raised, we actually bought another week and was wondering if those other 9 teams that did not pass the hat, would this sunday, some teams were not aware other teams were doing that, any little bit helps.
Thanks again,
Tuck

Lawnman, Thank you.
I wanted to give a big shout out to the Eaton Team, who knew nothing about the passing of the hat until I actually showed up at the field on Sunday with the flier and after the game they came up with $220, just got the check today and for not knowing one guy on their team, I think that is AWESOME.
LB4LB thank you for your very kind donation and those of your neighbors at work.
I will let you all know the family actually needed an extra 9k to meet their goal and we have raised $5800 of that so we are only $3200 short.

So we really could use some more help from those teams that didn't know about the passing of the hat, maybe they could do it this Sunday.
If anyone wants to see a picture of Isabella, it is my photo on Facebook, I don't know how to get it on this board if someone does please let me know so everyone can see who we are helping.
I owe a lot of people for the help you are giving Isabella and am so proud of everyone that has lent a helping hand.

I don't have much extra money laying around as I am sure most of you don't (except for lb4lb), but I managed a small donation. Every dollar adds up so if you can drink 2 less beers this week and throw a $10 in the hat it would be a good idea.
Tuck always drops money when someone asks for donations for some charitable cause such as this. His ball teams never pay a dime for uniforms, travel etc. It would be a shame to leave him hanging this one time that I have ever heard of him asking for something.
I guarantee when the times comes when someone needs help he will remember who helped him.

I want to add this: I met with Tucker today. He really is sincerely devoted to this cause. He is helping a friend help a friend help a friend......this was nearly a lost cause..until Jimmy picked up the flag . Hes a borderline hero. I dont know anything about Isabella Faith Miller nor anything about her specific disability. It doesnt matter. I am backing Jim Tucker. Yes he's kind of a douche and old and wrinkly and bald and chubby....but arent we all...and occasionally ..like when Gopher and Hinske had their toy drive...we get to give a CMSL brother a helping hand...and then rip him to shreds for the rest of the year.

Again I cannot thank you all enough for the generosity you have shown and how you are all helping us to the finish line, although I have been in front of this, this would not have happened had you not opened up your hearts to a family none of us had ever met.
As you may have noticed I believe in paying it forward and I wish all of you will get your just rewards for this act of kindness you have shown.

Anger, Village Pub and the Botelho teams.
Individually Stevens and DJ for passing the hat at work, Dimonti and AJ Costa.
If anyone else has anything call me at 401-996-5498.
I can tell you that we surpassed our goal for this treatment and any funds left over will go into Isabella's acct for another procedure being done in FL later in the yr that will cost 11k.
I will have an updated figure tomorrow and a final count on Friday as I have other funds coming in this week.
We raised over 10k in 10 days and that is phenominal.
We changed a family's life for the better.

FYI I wanted to update the fundraiser info, we are still getting checks in from some of my Allstate agents.
We went over the original goal, which is a wonderful thing because Isabella needs some stem cell work in FL later this yr.
The Coventry league had a hand in raising over 6k for Isabella, that's right 6k, as I have said I didn't think it was possible. In total we raised 15k to date in 11 days.

I cannot tell you how proud I am of each and every person who had a hand in this, we truly changed 2 peoples lives, Isabella and her mom, Tracey and for that I thank you and also for believing in the cause and having the trust in me to give me these funds on Isabella's behalf to give a little girl and her mom hope that she can be all she can be.
Aside from my family, this is one of the greatest things I have ever been apart of in my entire life.
Thanks Again.
Sincerely,
Jim Tucker
