| The USSSA state tournament in Rockford is on August 14th and 15th.
Once again, we will be heading up on Friday, August 13th in the morning to spend the day boating and cooking out at my sister's house on the river.
This year, everyone is responsible for booking their own hotel rooms. A few of us have booked the same hotel we stayed at two years ago which is very close to my sister's house. You have to book it on hotels.com and you have to pre-pay. Information is below:
Lexington Cliffbreakers Hotel
700 W. Riverside Blvd.
Rockford, IL 61103
Two Queen Beds - $87 per night
King bed with sofa sleeper and two bathrooms (two floors) - $109 per night
There are a lot of other hotels in Rockford right at 90 and State Street if you do not want to stay at this hotel.
