As per MCFFU guidelines, a state championship event is awarded 150 points to the winner and diminishing value based on order of finish.

Our team from Enfield formerly know as the Starrs (We may be changing our team name) would like to be apart of the 6 man. This is really our specialty, we have won a handful of titles in East Windsor and Tolland Indoor Leagues.

A few rule suggestions if this does happen.

Add a rusher. Basically, you line a rusher 5-7 yards off the ball, and on the snap he has a free rush to the QB. He cannot be blocked, it is a free rush.

4 Seconds to throw is too short. With the rusher, you make this a 6 or 7 second count as apposed to 4. I'm sorry, I play QB and to sit back in the pocket even 5 WR on 6 DB, is too easy and teams will score at will.

With the rusher, the QB isnt just sitting back, going through his reads. He actually has to avoid a rusher, and still find somebody open within 7 seconds. This is how East Windsor SportsWorld runs it and we have played in numerous Indoor Leagues and Tournaments, and for 6 man, this is by far the best way in my opinion.

Why not do 9-man? I thought the Stars were a top team in the hartford league?

We were up there but alot of times our lineman can't make it for some reason or another. I can always get the skill guys whenever, lineman its a little tougher. Plus Chris reached out to me with some ideas for the 6 man division and figured we would be a good team for it since we play 6 man in EW and Tolland. Im not opposed to doing the 9 man either, I just would have to make sure I can get the guys. For the 6 man, I know point blank we will be able to play 100% you know?
