| reports of Hinske's demise have been greatly overrated. He still rakes and VFW took two from Botelho's 13-9 and 13-6. Demonti was thrown out of the game and he wasnt even in the game thus " dejectifying" the Peaches nickname and " reclimatizing" Timebomb. Those are his words..Demo was very Jesse Jackson-esque at Crowe yesterday. For the first time ever Timebomb made more outs than hits against lb4lb pitching..which was a personal triumph despite the losses. And a nod to GT and RYMAN...hitting hrs in hr situations on a hot day with a mush ball. What else............

| It was an epic fail for sure. I am not sure how it happened but I went down like a turd from a tall cow's ass. Knee is currently the size of a basketball. Side notes- this is not a warm weather ball for sure. Ryno, Dean, and I would have combined for about 15 homers yesterday with the real ball. That said, we are probably better off with the socks- made things a bit more interesting. Hunters Crossing is the stupidest field in the history of softball and I am wondering if it was designed to counteract the effects of the sockball on home run production. Next year the town should explore the option of reserving that field for the little kids that live in the neighborhood. The 106 foot porch in center is a joke.

| When I said "real" ball....I really meant last year's ball. Didn't mean to defame the sock ball.

| That sniper got me as well a couple of years ago. More embarrassing than whiffing is falling down while running. Ah the sock ball....lets learn to love it. Hit hrs in fall ball

| I was hurting after that fall. Came back to the dugout making hollow threats to punch people in the mouth for laughing at me because it "wasn't funny yet" only to announce 2 minutes later that it was now funny and ball busting could commence. Hurts more now than it did at the end of game 4 yesterday.

| That was Dean's fault....he was growing a tail and was racing for the bathroom at Nike- which hilariously was locked!- Was going to grab a picture of him giving birth but didn't have the time.

| How come no one complained whern there used to be missle silos there but a little speeding causes an uproar? Oh yeah because Coventry has turned into soccermomville.

| Sniper took me out rounding 3rd at hunter's yesterday. Went right on my face but ended up being granted home during the rundown for fielder interference. Good to know hunter's got some others.

| I almost forgot about th other Stevens story. He gets a shitty strike 2 call so of course not wanting to be rung up looking (again) he hacks at a crappy next pitch and is still so irate over the previous pitch gives a nice hearty "fuck you ump" as he ran to first. The ump was cracking up.

| The heat gets to me....I was bitching about the previous pitch as the next one was coming. I had heat induced Botelhoitis- I was irritable and prone to have a tantrum. On a 75 degree day I immediately laugh at myself for falling down around first and I take that horrible pitch.

| Of course, immediately after I emerged from the woods after taking my heater, the woman comes to unlock the door to the mens room. Too bad there weren't more HR's yesterday. I left my turd right at the entrance where you have to go to get the HR balls. I was really hoping to get some mileage out of that maneuver. Oh well...

| Stevens..excellent diagnosis of my particular illness. Imagine taking hydroxy cut on a 98 degree day while also being grossly dehydrated. Prime Perform Recover. Prime: Hydroxy cut washed down with Med Ice Coffee with shot of expresso. Perform: Same...another round between games. Recover: pray, orange juice, Wild turkey with ginger, water. And a whole bag of shit that does abs nothing. I once had an ump insist that I take myself out of a game because he thought that I was too red and gonna drop and he was in no mood to save me.
